I wouldn't buy anything from Gold Planar. I bought the GL1200s, they do not support the product after purchase. If you have any problems with your headphones after the return date, they'll give you the run-around and make it incredibly hard for you to resolve issues. The GL1200s are $1400 headphones, imagine the service you'll get from these. If you have money to burn, I would try these, but I regret my purchase from Gold Planar.

kcnooblyDid you contact Gold Planar directly? I heard they have 3 years warranty on their products.

zhugunicthey have no such 3 year warranty. they will try to blame you of damaging the ribbons and refuse the warranty.
