Btw if you buy these, watch out. There is a plastic layer on the IEMS that will come off with heavy use. It ruins the aesthetics but functionality it still works
I can confirm this is a known issue. I contacted Ikko about it and she stated as exactly as mentioned above. It’s a factory applied layer that may peel off with usage, but it in no way changes the sound of the iem.
I bought my OH10 at the beginning of 2020, so perhaps this is no longer an issue.
All iems feel that way to me. Probably because they are a hunk of material filling up my ear. The caveat for me is the inevitable ear infection no matter how much I clean them. They are a fun set and have a good stage.
FINALLY a deal!!! I already own these but THANK YOU drop for actually dropping the price of a product. These are great BTW for anyone who is interested in them.
AvernumAdding it to my cart gives a price of $150, but no price is visible on the page and there are no drop points - I'm glad I'm not the only one experiencing the issue.
These fit well and I enjoyed the sound. Build is heavy which was ok for me. Only problem was they were so heavy the earpieces would come loose from the cable. Lost one of the ear pieces because of it.
Renato_nI think that's not mainly due to the weight of the earphones but more of the socket being loose. Another reason that contributes to this is because they are using flushed 2-pin and not recessed ones. That's the problem with most chifi iems.
Slater91Though I share much of the same observations, I disagree with not that wide soundstage. They're pretty wide, and the V-shape signature tuning results in some awesomely peculiar dynamics ;-)
