Seriously guys, I may be wrong as i have never heard this thing , but I don’t think you need much more than the Apple dongle dac ($10). It comes in usb-c flavor as well, and the small form factor is ideal.
there may be a compatibility problem with some android devices and the Apple dingle iirc, so check with your doctor.
p.s. i dont wanna poo on ikko as a company, however. Supposedly they make some real banging IEMs.
GregBoYou are so right--and as zeos mentions in the video, you plug it in and it just works--no drivers to find, download and install. That's what has alway made Apple stuff worth whatever they charge for them--they work. And in my experience, they sound good too.
But you windoze boys, you just do you ;- )
"Taking the traditional smartphone dongle to new heights...."
What cheap crap on Drop isn't taking something to "new heights?" Either the marketing department is clueless that they've overused this description or they just don't care. Considering it's Drop my money is on the latter
Well I got it, but it is weird, when ever cable is getting bent, static noise is coming and 4/5 times it stops working unless re plugged. not sure if DOA or design, but questionable quality of unit i got
Aparently same issue as Zeos review, i just watched it... Da Fonk?
Does anyone think we will really receive this Drop?? Looks BAD!! I was banking on this one. I already sold the previous DAC, this was going to replace it.:(
Watched the video--actually more of a ringing endorsement for Apple products (price, no driver issues), than for this product--which Z is okay with--although his unit isn't working correctly, and he's having problems with the products drivers!
Seldom a day goes by, when I look at folks' Windoze boxes and setups, that I don't thank my lucky stars that I have been an Apple guy since before the Mac!
Ever see an Apple III? Marone, what a machine!

Of course computers and music didn't have much to do with one another back then (nor much to do with the internet at that particular time), but it was a beast on spreadsheets (with VisiCalc, but that's a story for another day ;- )
Anyway, I digress--back to the music. If nothing else, remember the immortal words of John Galt:
"If you have a Mac, you don't need a DAC"
