How do you get B stock for a product that hasn't been manufactured for close to two years now? Should this be more appropriately be called a scratch and dent knock off drop?
I’ve had great luck with the X2s. I put a triple flange tip on and got MUCH better isolation & a great fit, no wings needed. These “B” stock were, or might still be, on Woot for $30 (prime=no shipping) listed as factory refurbished & fewer color choices.
I'm am extremely frustrated to see this FAKE "B-stock" drop active again. Look at the comments here. Many Massdrop members received broken, dirty, and obviously used pairs. My order never arrived and I had to ask for a refund 2 months after the supposed ship date (I should not that was quickly given to me without issue). If this drop is for "refurbished" units then it should be advertised as such, NOT "B-stock".
Another member said their package had this address:
DealParade Miami
4469 NW 97th Ave Doral, FL 33178.
Guess what they sell on their site - refurbished Jaybird X2's:

Based on the condition of the units being given to other members, I think Massdrop ought to stop working with "DealParade" but at the bare minimum they need to update this drop description.
nic872Yup. Loved mine until I lost them in a movie theater :(. Upgraded to the X3's for about two years, and the dog ate them off my neck while I was napping. Really loved those things. I just got the Tarah Pro's and they are a perfect fit for me. I had minor issues with the fit of the X2's and X3's nothing wrong with them mind you I just got wired ears, I guess. But they all use the same drivers and the only difference in sound quality has to do with way they fit and seal in your ear. Comply foam tips really helped the X2's and X3's fitting issue for me! Hope that helps.
p.s. these don't go for $179 anymore usually 'bout $50-60 nowadays. Still a decent deal but not some amaze-balls-once-in-a-lifetime deal.
Billy-BobbyYup. They did when I got mine about 2 and a half years ago. They really made the fit so much better. Couldn't listen to them with out them. Ordered replacements all the time.
Never received my headphones at all, which is fine because I didn't really need them. I'm just going to simply ask for a refund. This feels like some real borderline-false advertising horseshit by Massdrop though.
I've sent a request to Massdrop support to ask for a refund. A shipping label was created on 11/27/18 but shows no delivery date and they were never delivered. I'm sure they'll be very helpful.
Edit: I was given my refund but I'm upset this drop is live again. "Deal Parade" is obviously not a great partner and this drop should not be described as "B-stock" if members are being sold refurbished units.
