Only found out that this knife is Chinese made after I purchased it. Would not have considered it if i knew prior to purchase. Will wait to see how this knife is.

Comes to $20.10 with tax and shipping at the lowest drop. Amazon is presently $16.95 including shipping. Why would I pay 18.584% more for the privilege of waiting three weeks for Massdrop to decide to send it to me when I’m out of town? FBA Prime is still 8.67% less than MD. Is Massdrop secrectly planning a rewards program? It’s absurd to buy through MD without some sort of incentive.

Massdrop I did not receive the correct order. I believe I got a Kershaw 1660Teal "Leek". I was very much looking forward to getting a speedsafe Oso.
Is it too late to remedy this?

MrtunaHave to disagree. This is a solid knife - I've been carrying one for a bit over a year and it has needed almost nothing in the way of care or maintenance, except a bit of stropping. The scales are nothing to write home about, but they're serviceable, as is the rest of the knife.

Gort5000I agree. From a collector's standpoint, sure, this doesn't stand out. From an everyday utility standpoint, this knife is great for the price. I use mine as a beater blade and it's held up nicely.

Massdrop needs help finding nice knives, not these Chinese junk knives you can pick up at Walmart or the super pricey knife nobody's ever heard of.

eksuenI've had mine for a number of years and have used it for all sorts of tasks. For the price it holds a decent edge and has stood up to years of my abuse.

UNVERIFIED PURCHASER REVIEW. As best I can tell, I am not allowed to review this because I purchased it elsewhere. F&F are good. Centering is good. Opening is crisp and lock-up is good. There is mild side-to-side play in the blade. This cannot be corrected by tightening the pivot screw. This blade gets pushed to the left and Speed Safe fails. (I have not taken this apart, cleaned and lube it, but I do not believe that it would help. OOTB sharpness was OK. It was very good after I sharpened it. Edge holding is fair to good. This is not a hard use knife. Some jimping for the thumb would have been very nice. (Maybe I should fire up the Dremel.) 3.0-3.5 stars.

Items here are sometimes unusual, and glad to be here. But I have been collecting knives for.. longer than I would like to note. And something I just noted about this place... Never do I see a serrated blade? WHY?

Graham88Personally I never buy serrated blades unless it is a true outdoor hiking blade. For EDC a straight edge is way more useful

Again, it's too bad MD will or can't ship Kershaw knives to Europe. I hope this will change in the nearby future.

Dr.OetqerStrange as I’ve bought multiple blurs from massdrop. Have kershaw changed their policies?

badfrogIf they have changed their policies I don't know. It appears that shipping of just a few Kershaw knives are not restricted to US addresses only. But it's a real minority :-(

I never realized the MSRP was a code for LMAO. This is not a $41 knife. Period. I have it. I like it. If you trust eBay, you can get one from a seller for $12 including S&H. He has been selling for about 4 months and has no negative comments. I don't know what to make of having to sign in to see this price. It certainly doesn't look like a wonderful price. If you choose to buy from a major online retailer, the list prices run from about $22-29. Probably $3.00 will be added to that for S&H, except for osograndeknives. They dinged me for $6.00 on a sprint run Spyderco that I couldn't find anywhere else. If I did not have this, would I pay $18 and have no regrets? Sure! The edit was hanging the question mark to an exclamation.
