Just got one of these from a buddy who had picked it up here. He upgraded to something. Problem I'm having is that I can't even get it to power on. I plug it in, flip the switch and it immediately blows the fuse. I replace the fuse, same thing. Any help? I'm using 5A slow-blows.

Lasagna777absolutely not planars you never want to use on tube amps. Hybrids you can but do not recommend. The impedance is way too low but the resistance is way too high. It's hard to describe get a solid-state amp for planars and using this with dynamic driver headphones.

A little help before I buy an amp. I’ve been looking at a fiio K5. I love tinkering and this Little Dot is friendly in that manner. Can anyone that has experience with both give me a gentle nudge in which direction I should go.

Using an E12diy that I’ve fully worked over. Not unhappy with it but I think it’s reached it’s limit.

Great little amps for the money. Tubes I have tried are Mullard, Voshkod, GE and EI Yugoslavia (favourite). Also have replaced the opamp with a Burson v5i in a previous drop. Actually paid more than what drop is offering that mkII for its a good price!

I would caution I would not use the Little Dot mkii with he4xx. I have heard all tube designs don't pair well with planars. My 1+ is hybrid with tubes only in a buffer output stage.
