Using the highest-quality components across its construction, the MKVI+ has exceptional dynamic range and can produce clean amplitudes of 70Vp-p into 120 ohms. The MKVIII SE improves upon the MKVI+ by adding a single-ended output and a dual-mono architecture, complete with independent amplifiers with their own isolated toroidal transformer power supplies.
