Luxury and Precision L5

The Luxury and Precision L5 player supports the very latest in high-resolution digital music. With playback capabilities up to 24 bit/192 kHz PCM as well as DSD, the L5 will get you up and running with nearly any lossless file format you can throw at it. Equipped with a 3.5 inch display and stunning aluminum-magnesium alloy body the L5 might almost look as good as it sounds.

The DAC (digital-to-analog) chip at the heart of device is the latest-generation AKM Verita 4490, which can pull every sonic nuance from the highest resolution file formats available including 4x DSD. The touch screen interface features an 800 by 480 resolution and intuitive UI for finding and selecting your favorite tracks. The L5 sports 16/32 GB of long-life internal memory and MicroSD card expansion capabilities along with an internal battery that has a projected playback time of 12 hours.

A sand-blasted anodized finish is expertly wrapped around the minimal 123mm x 63mm footprint. Connectivity includes a USB DAC interface, 3.5mm gold-plated headphone jack, 3.5mm coaxial digital output and a shielded 3.5mm line-out. The headphone amplifier includes a versatile 5 level gain switch that allows for easy pairing with almost any headphone. The L5 features a physical rotating knob for volume adjustment and a standard play/pause, track forward/back interface on the side panel along with two assignable custom function buttons and a hold/lock feature on the front panel.
