can someone help me with instructions for adjusting and or removing the strap? I tried unscrewing it and there are screw heads on both sides that move in tandem. Maybe I need to see a jeweler after this virus stuff is over.....

Gorgeous. If only I had the funds. The plain diver is also nice, and more affordable, but this dial is just perfect.

The more I see this watch pop here now and then, the more I love the used blue tone, it really stands on its own. I sometime wonder what it would look like if the yellow tones were a little more orange-ish, but not even sure it would look any better. Overall a great looking watch, sadly not for chicken like me, I'd feel amputated from one arm if I wore such a large case on my wrist. Those lucky enough to be able to assume it, enjoy it in good help my friends! ;)

Dammit! This is my grail watch but I just spent this quarter's watch budget last weekend. I do like that it comes back around on a fairly regular basis and while it can occasionally be found on the grey market for $100-200 less, this is probably the best price for an authorised transaction. Maybe the Rescue Timer will make a reappearance in April. I don't know exactly what it is about the MÜHLE-GLASHÜTTE brand, but the ProMare, Rescue Timer and Seebataillon are three watches I need before I die.

It wasn't much, but they paid me. (I see now that I have misread the attributes and intention that lead me to reply up there.) Delivery is due in the next couple days.

I've really liked this watch for at least 6 years now. Not sure why I never bought one. Finally saw one in the flesh in Dresden about 4 years ago. What a great looking watch! If you can pull off the size (and I think most can, because this watch wears smaller) then I think you may be buying one of the best GMT's for the money at this price. Paid double this price for my Tudor BB GMT (now sold). I'm looking again at this one.

Ridiculous he sold his. Not even worth asking him. I doubt the Drop watch has a jumping hour hand, and so, it is an ornamental GMT. GMTs are not supposed to be real divers anyway, it is customary to have bi directional bezel inserts.

Well, I think everyone is certainly right to their own opinion and pursue what they fancy as opposed what the public praises. I was curious as I had doubts regarding the case size of the Tudor GMT. I have since gone to my local AD, tried on the regular Black Bay for size (which wore thicker than the GMT due to a lack of beveling on sides of the case), and ordered the watch. I picked up my watch after a month's wait; I thought the demand has gone down and AD's are quickly stocking. It seems some AD are preferred by Rolex over others, perhaps you can check with another AD in your area. At any rate, I am very happy with the Tudor GMT and glad I have not compromised. To me, the amount of watch you get justifies the price tag. Cheers

Another 'desk GMT' offering. Worthless if you wish to travel with it regularly.

Work around?! How ‘bout just shelling out for a watch you think meets your needs, rather than complaining that watch ”X” isn’t watch ”Y“ ? Or is that your work around?

For those who are considering this watch and do not mind a pre-owned, I just saw one on eBay for $300 less.
