M&O’s MOOH-BE00BT (or MOZero) headphones have been turning heads at CanJam events: inexpensive and well-liked, they represent an impressive value in the closed-back category. The 45-millimeter drivers use beryllium, a material that’s rarely found even in much more expensive models Read More

For the ones who owns it; do you feel like there is something wrong with the bass region in the right side driver? if you block the left side 3 holes of the you will feel the bass is gone, however if you block the holes in the right side nothing at all changes in terms of bass sound! Well you might say the right side is blocked by transparent cloth...but let me tell you that I opened the right chamber and removed that tiny transparent cloth and still no changes (like if only the left side chamber does correct enhanced bass reflection and the right side is not regardless).... anyone experienced the same?

At the current price, I might turn a blind eye on the build quality.

I actually did a full review on those. Very comfortable, they work well, worth their asking price. https://www.audiophile-heaven.com/2018/02/mo-electronics-mooh-be00bt-bluetooth-fun.html

For anyone curious I purchased the monoprice pleather memory foam pads and finally received them and here is the outcome. They are not an extremely tight fit but do fit fine and are much more comfortable than the stock pads to me. They are not as thick as the stocks but as you can see at least a three knuckle for size I'd say they are a replica of the HM5 pads but for no more than 16.99 from monoprice, they have velour option also but I would think those would not be great on a can that I use to isolate on trips, since they would leak too much sound both ways. I never thought I had big ears but the stocks make them basically on ears or I can cram my ear in there and it was not that comfortable to me, these my ears fit perfectly. If you want any other photo looks let me know.

Not at all they just slide over the little edge takes a minute to swap the pads. Worth it if your ears hit inside of the current pads which mine did. These are also softer I found and are I think on sale right now on monoprice with free shipping. I am also interesting in trying the velours to see what sound signature they give.

The thin plastic, that wraps one side of the metal band, broke on one side of mine. Anybody know a fix? Tried sugru but it doesn't fix the original tightness, and the cup doesn't sit flush on that side.

Unfortunate. I did the same for a while, but then I saw some diy fixes on youtube. Easiest thing seems to be attaching a supporting piece (with near-identical curve) on top of the broken portion of the headband. One example could be thick plastic piece cut from round plastic container, just layered for structural integrity. Another is maybe a piece of metal have to find from hardware store.

I broke a piece and MO Electronics were very helpful in replacing the part. They also ran out of screws. They gave me the wrong size specs to buy in the meantime, but when they discovered the specs were wrong. They sent the replacements as soon as they got them back in stock 4 stars

Pretty disappointed in Massdrop. I just bought these headphones six weeks ago for $125 and then they turn around and have them for $100. It’s bullshit.

Order these on the current drop. Anyone know if the mic works while plugged in or do you need a wired mic cable, just want to know if I need to order a cable.

Just FYI...you can get these directly from M&O Electronics via Amazon in like-new condition for only $5.49 more (shipping) and have them within 1-4 weeks. https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B071HXD5RV/ref=dp_olp_all_mbc?ie=UTF8&condition=all ...honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if the purchases from this drop end up being from the same stash of like-new cans that have been re-boxed. Nah, they wouldn't do that... ;)

Back then the Drop price was $90 and M&O was selling like-new units for the same price...not anymore, plus the Drop price has gone down. As for aptx, it is indeed supported.
