Instantly reminded me of my ZT Hinderer, which has amazingly smooth handling. The action is like butter on this knife. I like large knifes and this one is long and heavy. Only issue is that the scale is a bit scratchy and, for my hand size, I am feeling a hot spot. This has to do with the shape of the handle of course. Doesn't fit like as perfectly much ZT Hinderer. This is not a deal killer. The handle is a very attractive looking shape, more tastful versus aggressive. Happy to be an owner.

This knife is massive! It feels sturdy, the action is buttery smooth and the fit and finish is impeccable. Well suited for gloved hands and inspires confidence as a hard use knife. Blade steel is not an issue for me as long as the knife is well made and Maserin's use of N690 is outstanding. Pay no attention to the "discussion" thread on this knife. The thread is ridiculous and some of the comments are flat ignorant.

Quality Knife
I like the action of this knife, the weight of the blade makes it fall shut. The not-so obvious glass breaker is a really nice touch and the lock bar is a breeze to use. No complaints aside from having to light sand down the edges of the g10 because it was a little sharp out of the box

LOVe, Love, Love this knife. Wish MD would offer many more Maserin knives, they make a bunch of cool ones.
This one ranks up there with my ZT's...easy. Only cheaper in price but not quality. Can't say enough good things about this one. Highly recommend.

Looks even better in the flesh. Incredible quality.....I was strictly a ZT fan but this sits alongside my ZT0562 as an equal favourite....it makes deciding each morning what knife to carry extremely hard!

The Maserin 680 Police Tactica knife is a well built functional knife. It is somewhat on the large and heavy side of the scale. Nevertheless, its heft can come in handy in some situations. The knife opens flawlessly.

One of the best balanced knives I have. Ths simple joy of opening this knife is hard to overstate; such a satisfying snap and click combo. While it's not the best steel, it has held up to the rigors of field work quite well. The only thing which I find to be a bit of a detractor is the window punch. While it DOES work, it takes much more effort than I would generally recommend for a window punch, and is more likely to cause the user to put their hand through the glass, as opposed to the window punch on the Nimrod.
Overall, very happy with the knife.
Other info: wear medium sized gloves for work and fits hands perfectly.
Tension on pants clip is not too tight, nor too loose.

The Maserin 680 Police has one of the smoothest actions I've got in my collection, I have total confidence in the build quality and blade action that I can guarantee I'll be ready for any situation that requires a quick opened blade... So good I bought all the colors... I plan to get one each for my brother's. Definitely an easy recommendation!

The thing with a knife is choosing one can be a bit like choosing a wife.
It`s all about personal preference and what attracts you.
I like the size, and the quality, as well as the fact that it is a flipper.
The quality is an all-around 10 for the price point.
It flips easy and smoothly (buttery smooth), with a solid lockup, and closes the same way making it totally one handed.
Did I say it opens smoothly?
Better than any other knife I own in this price category.
I have to say this is a definite JUST BUY IT knife.
