I'm curious how stable these 2 legged desk are. This appears similar to the Updesk and ModDesk designs where many complain about stability when raised. This price is excellent though for a standing desk.

hoovern8I have two Jarvis desks from Fully and they are incredibly stable. I use one for a DJ mixing desk and one as a computer desk and they are both rock solid.

thomastorckThat is what I was thinking as well. My 2 big hold ups are the lack of crossbar support and the colors of the top. I would prefer a darker top combo. Thanks for the input, I think I will just wait and spend the extra on the desk I really want.

hoovern8I have one of these at my office (Base only, legs are about 36" apart measured inside) that I'm standing at right now. It's incredibly stable. I have a 60" L-shaped table bearing a laptop, 2 widescreen monitors on pole-mounted on articulated arms and a load of different books on this, and I've got no qualms about it's stability. I'm 220 lbs and I've climbed on top of this desk to reach a ceiling light and it felt perfectly sturdy.

hoovern8I have this exact stand at my desk at work. It’s very stable. I have it attached to an L-shaped desk in my cubicle to which are attached 2 ~30” Monitor’s on articulating arms, plus a laptop and several books and storage containers. With all of this, I have stood on the desk to change a lightbulb. I’m 220 lbs. It’s very stable.

SDBGuitarsHow are you attaching another desk (l-shaped)? Don't the motors have to be in sync? Do you think this will take a 80x30" desktop nicely?

triggermeThe desk top is a one-piece L-shaped desk (previously attached to two walls in a cubicle). I ran the legs at an angle under the desk. It is still in the middle of the center of gravity, so it's not off balance. I couldn't tell you if it would handle an 80"x30" desk. My desk is move V-shaped, really, but with one part (63") slightly longer than the other (54").
