Sorry for the delayed reply! Yes, currently, you can either add one or add the full system (either 3 pockets or 4 packets). It's a limitation of the SKU setup process currently.

It would be nice to have soft lining inside the sleeve so that the laptop is resting safe. Also, does it have some protection on the corners to avoid damage if it falls?
rcampusaWe experimented with a tricot, but found it was quite bulky. The Intern found a soft hand ripstop which has actually been performing well in addition to the foam. Aside from the padding at the corners, there is no additional material reinforcement.

deaththekid666There are indeed, I hope to create one at that size with a "tri-fold' design which allows for document carry, turns into a work surface or sun shade. Hopefully before end of year Massdrop and myself can find a way to make that happen as well.

Any chance at a version for those with thicc laptops? I've got a 17 inch one and am intrigued by this case/folio/carrier/neat thing.
conebangerAt the moment, there is not a plan for this. But we can definitely discuss and look into what design concepts Intern would be into.

How does a Microsoft Surface Book 2 fit in the S/M version? Would anyone be able to comment if it is a snug or a tight fit? The specs doesn't specify the internal dimensions of each size.

Hi Kim! My version is the 13.5" version. Dimensions as follows:
12.3" x 9.14" x 0.9"
(312mm x 232mm x 23mm)

In Series 2, you will find the Laptop Folios in 2 available sizes, as well as the add-on Packets and Strap options. Still utilizing American-Made Dimension Polyant X-Pac fabric, as well as high-quality buckles and zipper, these Laptop Folios are built with durability and carry efficiency in mind. The EVA foam and soft ripstop lining ensure proper protection for your laptop, and the high abrasion nylon webbing allows the addition of the Series 1 Pockets or other compatible pouches.
