If anyone is looking for replacement cables, I can confirm that 0.78mm pin cables on aliexpress work fine. The ones I got were "6N 0.78mm 2 Pin for Weston TFZ" for around $11. The cable is a bit shorter than the default ones, and the metal pins stick out by like 1mm, but it's overall a good fit.

After almost 2 years of not frequent use, the mid range armature (I think) is gone. The vocal of a song has fated into the back if you know what I mean. I do like the sound of this IEM, should I buy another one or try something else?

As a wearer of glasses, I'm very hesitant to purchase IEMs that require me to wear the wires up and over my ears...

I really really liked the sound and comfort of those EDC3, sadly the left earpiece started crackling about 3 months after the purchase (bought in january, issues started today). I'm really sad, hope Drop will handle my warranty request soon.

I bought them on Feb 7 2019 and they have been great until last week. I plugged them just like every other day but the right monitor started breaking signals at the time of bass. Whenever there was a bass is the source it was creating the noise which was similar to how the traditional speakers use to have when the diaphragm use to tear down. Looking for options to fix this problem.

Does anyone know of any detachable headphone cables that end in a lightning connector instead of a 3.5mm?

Can you use balanced cables with these? If so what would you recommend?

After years avoiding IEMs, two things have me interested:
  1. I wear glasses, making even the most comfortable headphones uncomfortable after a while and
  2. These multiple tiny drivers are intriguing
These look like a good first set to try. And I’d imagine I can find a good Bluetooth cable to go with them. However, the reason I’ve avoided IEMs for so long is because they’d always fall out. Can I expect the same here, or have designers solved this problem by now?

It's all about the tips which these come with a lot of. On top of that, there is no shortage of aftermarket options that will fit your ears. The cable, and most cables these days, also don't have a metal memory wire anymore so the wire will naturally go over your ears. I wear glasses and have longer hair and never have issues. These shells are also super small and lightweight so you should be good to go.

Can anyone tell me how's the bass response? Is it heavy or average?
