Is the HD58x getting slight alterations? Ive seen a couple pictures more recently of it with the HD600 headband padding design and the HD600 much nicer packaging.

lc155I asked Drop and they said no changes are planed. So maybe it was a weird couple samples for sponsers who dont know audio enough to notice?

erickongI've seen them a few times now, easiest would be in a jaystwocents video from 5 days ago called "don't buy pc parts" or something like that. He does a sponser spot and it shows them.

It's very odd and kinda annoying. If you also pay attention it's being leaned against a different box and if you look up the HD600 box, it's the same fancy box. Maybe they just sent these "nicer" version to certain people who do ad spots. Which if true is kinda dishonest. I'm thinking it's more of a mistake or at least I hope.

erickongVery strange. I'm only wondering as over on my Sub on reddit I had a few people who saw that video and were disapointed when the hd58x came and they didn't have one with the HD600 headband and nicer box so I was just trying to get to the bottom of it.
