The design, construction, and materials are all good. However, and it took my a while to fully grasp this, the knife feels too small for its design and original intended function. This is a scaled-down version of Terzuola's ATCF which is usually around a 3.75-3.9" blade length, and while that might not seem like much of a difference, it's enough to make this one look pretty puny in comparison. It's handle is too small and thin to be able to get a solid grip on it and I couldn't see this being used as a tactical knife. As a result, this feels like a tacticool toy version of a purpose-built tool.
If that doesn't matter to you, then go for it. But just like how I wouldn't buy a dive watch with a 50m water resistance (even if that's adequate for me), I had a hard time appreciating this knife.
On a less philosophical note, the detent is very light so it can be shaken open and isn't terribly satisfying to flip, and using the thumb stud often results in misfires due to the detent. And the thick blade stock combined with a very short grind make this pretty bad at slicing. So not only is it too insubstantial to be a tactical knife, it's also not a very function EDC knife.
Good deal for a Terzuola design with nice materials, but fit and finish is just ok. Mine had some squeaking in the interface between the blade and lockbar, and the corner of one of the scales looked like it had been ground off a bit.
My first Terzuola, great action and quality not sure about the thumb stud yet when it will need to be sharpened. So far my only complaint was that I’m annual about keeping box’s in great condition it got crunched out of shape because of way it was packaged and handle to me. Drop was great to deal with will be doing more
