Discount it at about 20-25% and increase the needed buyers to 15-25.
This is a fine DAC, just not a great price.

Excellent DAC, but not enough discount for me to join. I would rather wait for the DA8 to drop again.

Massdrop used to be a good place to shop, but now you literally don't save any money compared to other places. The waiting time is horrible, usually takes at least 3 weeks or even longer to arrived. You can find some items cheaper elsewhere if you do little researches around. For examples, Beyer COP is currently available on eBay from Prostars Audio for $129 or you can buy Fostex Th900 from Sonic Senses Audio for under $1100. Spend money wisely, I'm not trying to offend anyone, including Massdrop.

Pretty much sums up what I was saying about T1s being neutral and HD800s making everything sound the same.
I didn't say the HD800s were bad, just that they seem a bit useless to review DACs.

Do Aussies have to pay gst and duty on this since it will run over $1000 AUD or is it shipped from a local supplier? 240v?

LOL, first free shipping ever to Australia but all those 9 deters me. I rather the price be listed as $1000 instead.
Edit. Come to think of it we paid GST from $1000 an above so 999.99 is good.

mydonkeykongWe pay GST from $1000 AUD so this being in USD would put it over $1000 AUD after currency conversion meaning we'd get hit with GST and duty.
