Absolutely beautiful knife, well held in the hand, very solid. I only wish the sheath was more bearable. The sheath gives the appearance of having many attachment points but only a small number of the holes fit standard screws. I will have to find a custom sheath maker to properly carry this wonderful knife.
Hey everyone,
We've been in contact with our vendor, but there was a miscommunication regarding the availability of this knife. We misunderstood the production date as an availability date and this sets back the fulfillment time significantly. At this time the knives are under production, but aren't expected to be completed for another few weeks. Because of all the holidays we think this is a best case date and don't want to hold onto everyone's money with an unknown fulfillment date.
For now, we are going to cancel the order and refund everyone their payment. Refunds will be applied to your payment method shortly and you’ll receive an email from our Community Support team as soon as yours has been processed. We are working with our vendor to avoid this in the future and will bring this drop back once production is closer to completion.
TylerSo will those of us who went in for this one automatically be set up on the next one or will we have to rejoin it? I only ask because I will probably be out of country soon and not have internet access.
Nice looking knife!
But that large choil right up against the sharpened edge makes me nervous! Especially when coupled with a smaller handle!
It'd be nice to see a more substantial finger guard in that region.
Cyn1cApparently you're totally unfamiliar with knives designed by Fred Perrin, of which I own several. Trust me---the deep finger choil is one of the best and safest designs out there, especially for a small knife. NO OTHER GUARD NEEDED!
This knife blows me away! It's really well designed and beautifully made.
I won't write a review, I will list what I think you might not be able to see from pictures on the 'net.
* The finishing is insanely good. It looks simple, because the details all seamlessly blend together.
* It is surprisingly small. Check the measurements to make sure you're not surprised.
* The design is more specialised than many other knives. It's not as universal as many other classic designs. It looks way more unique though - a good trade off, as long as it suits you.
* The deep finger groove wouldn't fit a thick finger. There is no guard, so you don't want your finger too close too the sharp edge. The finger groove is really nice for most fingers though - this is just an example of the design being a bit specialised.
* The sheath is awesome - well designed and well made.
This thing is really nice to use, and disappears into my pocket. If this is the kind of knife you want, it's great value for $155.

too bad this is once again a states only drop, otherwise it would have been an instant purchase... oh well, money for other things.
hatmanI am glad it's just the sheath and not the knife itself that's disappointing, but I'm sorry to hear that the whole package is not up to your expectations. If you think the rattling is beyond what might be expected from normal wear/use then please do file a support request in My Transactions of your member profile and we'll address it as best we can.
