Product Description
More than just a powerbank, the Naztech Volt is like an on-the-go generator. It’s equipped with a massive 27,000 mAh battery and four different connections including a USB-C, Quick-Charge 3.0, and 5V/2A Read More
I'm looking to use this as a power pack to run an end table lamp with a standard 8 Watt LED bulb using the AC outlet, and keep the power pack underneath the couch. Is my math correct in that 8W/120V=.06 mAh which equals 60 Milliamps and so 27000mAh/60 mA= 450 hours of "light on" time before needing to recharge? If, so this will serve as an excellent device to avoid running a lamp cord on the floor to the nearest outlet.
The only advantage of this is the size/portability.
If compact portability isn't an issue, you're better off getting a portable power station/generator (just search amazon for "portable power"). For just a little bit more ($170), you can get a 60000mAh unit with USB A, QC 3.0, USB C (18W), AC inverter, cigarette lighter ports, and multiple 12V DC outputs (can be recharged via AC, car adapter, or optional solar panel).
Man this looks like a beast. If it wasn't cheaper to get a deep cycle Marine battery, 800w inverter, and trickle charger, this would be useful for the frequent power outages we have in this area.
Keep seeing these things and wonder who uses them and why? I've never had anything die completely in years of using phones, computers, iPads, etc...
Assuming one has the ability to plug in to a 110v source each evening (to recharge their whatevers), what $100 purpose would this serve?
No, as I've never played that before, it would never occur to me to accuse anyone else of doing so or not. Chill out and stop being grumpy that people with older, more used phones find power stations useful.
BCM has a 25,000mAh version for $34 on Amazon. You could buy four BCM units for the same price as one of the Naztech Volts. I'm not sure of the differences. But then again, I'm not sure if it matters. A trickle charger is a trickle charger is a trickle charger.
And then there's the Aukey at 20,000mAh at the same price as the BCM.
Decisions, decisions...
