Everyday Carry
Drop categorized this correctly. EVERY Drop item is now Everyday Carry, or at least, it should be known:
You are on your own! (But stick with it for the GOOD news)
Bought a light from Drop 2019 DEC, it worked. Next time I tried it, the only thing it will do is slow amber blink the button when a charge cord is connected. It blinks really well, but it promised to do more. The Klarus AR10 continues to state "INCLUDED: Manufacturer's Warranty" https://drop.com/buy/klarus-ar10
I heard back from Brett @ Drop on JULY 9
"For products that do not have an included manufacturer's warranty, customers have 30 days from the date of delivery to report an issue...we are not able to provide a replacement or facilitate a return."
kstokley @ Drop on JULY 13
"You should have received a proof of purchase after you completed your transaction which you can use to follow up with Klarus on your warranty claim"
Klarus Support on JULY 14
"according to your copy of purchase proof. We are not sure if it is bought from our authorized dealer"
Marriah De Pew with Drop Community Support Leadership on JULY 15
" I understand there has been some confusion regarding the warranty for your flashlight"
Marriah De Pew with Drop Community Support Leadership on JULY 18
"Warranties do not apply in this case."
kstokley @ Drop on JULY 20
"your light is covered by Klarus's warranty"
Now it's August. I bought a NIB light <8 months ago, used it >7 months ago, and now I have a tiny amber blinker if I connect a cord to it. Not to mention the pain. The suffering. The trauma....
There is HOPE my friends!
Here's an example of smart business
- on JULY 20, I informed Anker a Bolder LC90 flashlight was not performing perfectly
- on JULY 21, Anker asked me to try an easy solution
- on JULY 22, Anker apologized for the - result of my attempt
- on JULY 23, Anker shipped me a brand new product
- on JULY 24, I received a replacement light, New in Box
Guess which company will be getting my business?

I don’t normally do this but....anyone know where this torch is cheaper?
CAUSE THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL I’M PAYING $22.00 SHIPPING!!
Drop?....have you hired a boat just for this smallish item to reach my shore/door??
OkeerAgreed...I only just received two items that were ordered in April.
I had honestly written them off, so was a nice surprise when they did turn up.
I purchased this through another site, but I want to make everyone is aware that the built-in charger unfortunately overcharges the battery to 4.30v, which is rather dangerous and will also decrease the lifespan of the battery. It's a shame, because the machining and feel on this light is exceptional, but it's ruined by a bad UI and a faulty charger.

Found this video review. It seems to be a pretty solid torch for the money.

Some other online vendors are also selling this product for the same price as Drop, and without the month-long delivery.
does it have the most popular and stupidest ever arrangement of brightness levels starting from the brightest and going to lower ones in steps? Can it at least remember the last mode it was on?
TuckersA light press will momentarily turn on to highest setting until you let go... a great feature for emergencies. A hard press ( click ) turns on at the highest setting... light presses after, will cycle from high to low... hold for (3) seconds will access the S.O.S. mode... A hard press ( click ) will turn it off.
