Pretty lame that you have to go all in for either black or red. I'd split my order between the two if possible or pick up blue if that is available.

They just arrived in the mail today and I have to say these are great. They lay down a nice rich thick line. A great pen for a great price.

Unfortunately, Ohto just doesn't offer any ink colors other than Black and Red at this time. We've passed along all of the feedback wanting other colors, and if they ever introduce more in the future we'll definitely try to bring them in.

Ten of one color is SO many. Why not have an option of 4 blue, 4 black and 2 red? That would likely better suit most people. I will order them (in blue) because it's so rare to find really bold rollerball-type pens.

This is a bit of the pen testing- you can see none of these made it to Z without skipping, if not stopping completely. You can't see it super well here, but you might notice the last line is darker and thicker. This variation will often happen within the same pen between words or sentences.. going darker or lighter, thicker or thinner. I can't trust them to write consistently. So I have about 4 semi reliable pens out of 20.

ElliottI wondered about that too, but I've tried them on everything from cheap printer paper to clairefontaine, rhodia and Tomoe River. I'm at a loss. A couple of pens write really well 90% of the time but start skipping and writing lighter eventually and the rest of the pens do it all the time!

Almost cheaper on Amazon - probably cheaper when you include shipping - and you will get it MUCH faster. I have not been happy with my drops lately.

I wish there was an option for five of each color in one drop, although I am mighty tempted to get three, one of each color. Anyone know the approximate shelf life of one of these pens? If I get 30 pens, I don't want to find over half of them dried up and useless by the time I get to them.

I joined this drop and ordered a package of the blue pens and a package of the red pens. Today I received two lime colored collapsible water bottles. WTF!!
Previous drop I joined I ordered two add on converters for the Lamy Safari Pens. I only received one...which support wouldn't replace because I didn't send proof that this happened...a photo of a missing converter, perhaps??
I think I'm finished with the MassDrop experience until they get their act together.

I agree. I wouldn't care if it was only 9 pens three of each. But 10 of one color doesn't work.

I can't say truly recommend these. The original box I got, every single pen had problems with skipping terribly and horrible line variation/ink lay down. I've only tested about half the replacement box but so far it's not looking good. They would be fine for every day things, but I can't use them for anything that needs to look nice which was really the whole point of buying them. Color me unimpressed overall.
