The Oris Artix Complication Moonphase fits quite a bit of function into its 42-millimeter case. There’s a day and month window in the center, a date track along the inner chapter ring (indicated by the red crescent-shaped fourth hand), and of course, a moonphase indicator at 6 o’clock that’s printed with the words Grande Lune. Based on an Oris 915 26-jewel automatic movement, the Artix ticks for 38 hours. The movement is visible on the backside of the case through the display window. On the front is a sapphire crystal, which is fitted nicely in a polished stainless steel case. At 100 meters water resistant, the watch is ready for a night on the town or a spontaneous dip in the water.
