Not enough slots. When I'm feeling underwhelmed by the usual 2-3 knives on my person, I simply toss my entire collection into a leather duffel bag, throw it over my shoulder and go to work/ the grocery store/ farmer's market etc.
AMAZING! After the firet 20, I was running out of room on my belt to carry all of these knives. I know a typical box or display case would never do. Thankfully someone invented this cool bag to carry all 22 of my knives with me anywhere I go. All the ladies cream themselves when I whip out my REAL STEEL PILGRIM 22 KNIFE CARRY BAG.
I often enjoy your particular brand of wise-assery....but in this case, that's a very legit question.
Cheap plastics will get brittle and fall apart over time, making something like this useless if that starts happening.
Thin plastic will stretch and tear.
I would want to know the same thing, from current owners, if I were looking to buy one too

My point exactly.
ALL plastic (in this case PVC Vinyl) can tear/puncture, become brittle and crack. Nothing to indicate there is anything special going on or offered here.
The more relevant question is "How thick (in mils) is the Vinyl?"
TimayI ended up ordering one. It does fit the larger Emerson knives in the 4-sleeve section. The pockets are pretty tight though, the plastic is sewn flat so you really need to force the knife into the sleeve. Something like a Direware will definitely not fit easily. With that it will be interesting on how well the plastic survives the stretch and rub from larger knives.
I have two, and ordered a third. They cost a bit more than Spyderpacs but are a little better made, and $50 is $10 less than they list for; it's a good price.
I’m somewhat drawn and intrigued by a ‘case for knives’ that can be carried like an attache. But, frankly, why would I need one? What point am I missing here? Where would I go with 22 knives?
OK... I get it. I’ve got several dozen knives, and never once did I think I would ‘share’ my knives for others to view, like for a group. But, I get it :)
