I'm done with this site. It's completely useless for watch fans as every single drop here has a big problem with it, either the drop is for a watch that no one ever asked for, or the price on said watch is no better than the price you could find anywhere else, Drop simply keeps the savings to themselves and refuses to pass it on to the buyers. Why should I participate with Drop where it offers no benefit with the added privilege of slow shipping and no warranty? I'll just stick with amazon for my watch collecting, thanks.

Anybody own one of these? I need to know how this does with shock. I'm looking for something to rock at work but don't wanna go upscale/professional. Also lot's of shaking going on at the job. Will I gain/loose lots of time with this movement? I'd imagine I would gain too much time to make this a reliable time piece for the job.

You should get the green one you like 👍🏻 it's rugged (check reviewers on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000LTAY1U/ ) Yes you may get a 🍋 like ButchButchinson but even in that case you're not losing much 💰 Take in consideration these ⌚ are no longer in production so when they're gone it's for good... And the 🆕 models are notably more expensive in comparison, being the only real difference the caliber which is better indeed, but I don't 💭 as better as the price 📈 Go for it 👍🏻👍🏻

WatchfiendI’d definitely join @MarPabl on this one. You asked about how strong it was, and I replied on that particular aspect. But there’s a reason why I took it to a watchmaker twice : I love this watch. I love the story behind it, I love how it looks, I like the size (actually at first it seems small but the more you wear it the more you realize 40+ watches are ridiculously too big), I like the sand color (but the other ones are great too) and for sure I’ll never trash it, it will always stay in my collection. So follow your heart mate, you won’t regret it. And well, if one day it breaks, it’s a 80$ watch so it’s ok (and just 20$ to repair in my case), not a big deal 😉
Shame drop couldn't finish photoshopping the "JOMASHOP" watermark outta the photos....

This tiny little Seiko 5 was my first automatic watch and my entry into the watch collecting addiction. Size wise, yes it’s small but still retains excellent readability. As someone who has tiny wrists but still wears large watches, I’ve never understood the idea of a watch being too large or too small but again that’s just me. The movement is old, the crystal is hardlex schlock, and it’s certainly not refined. For $80, you can do better in terms of movement or specs, but there really is a certain charm to it.

They sell full cases as well, same size as the skx and with drilled lugs. The sumo is most likely a restock/return, I picked it up from jomashop for $567. I wasn’t going to go through the hassle as I had already sized and worn the watch a few days. The movement was great, around -5 dial up. For a total cost of $50ish bucks (20 for the bezel, 30 to my watchmaker) I’m still coming out ahead and I’ll have a ‘custom’ sumo. I also dropped off the Orient Triton/Neptune that I purchased off drop. The 120 click bezel became a 60 click. I emailed drop, drop tells me to email orient. I know orient is going to want me to send the watch back to fix a $20 part. It’ll be another $40 or so for my watchmaker to fix it by just making a brand new one which will be a lot sturdier and last longer. Moral of the long story - if you’re reading this, search for a local watchmaker. Not a mall kiosk or jewelry store, but an actual watchmaker. You’ll be able to buy what you want and fix what you need with a lot less stress.

JenkinssIf you have the Amazon Prime credit card that gives you 5% cash back on purchases from Amazon/Whole Foods, then it's way better than Drop at $75.05 with free 2-day shipping

Oh, "classic-sized" eh? Say, that gives me an idea--next time I get a complaint about my anatomy, I'm gonna tell her: "Hey--it's not small--it's classic size!
RayFBahahahaa! This comment is “classic” Ray...
