Hands down the best entry level diving watch out there in my opinion. I would suggest you purchase the Japanese version because it's a lot more detailed and quality than the one made in Malaysia. Forgot to mention that it's worth the price, don't waste your money on fashion watches (MVMNT, Daniel Wellington, Invicta, etc.)
I ordered a skxJ because you can’t beat the Japanese made version of this watch at the mass drop price, the time keeps very well and as far as i can tell it only gains like 5 seconds a day. The big surprise on this was the Arabic day wheel what as a collector is such a cool piece.
all in all a very good watch at a very good price the only mark against is the early seiko starp they are a bit stiff.
This watch borderline junk. I bought two of them to use as Xmas gifts, and both bezels are completely misaligned; not even close to centered on the ”12”. One keeps Ok time, but the other is over 2+ minutes off a day, which is about on par with a sun-dial.
i have a few Seiko‘s, and truly do enjoy the brand, but these are cheap garbage, through and through. I’d appreciate if someone at Massdrop would contact me to arrange a refund.
Impressive level of quality for the price. I love the look of the orange face (SXK011) however, the high polish is a tad too shiny - I prefer a more muted finish.

. I may have the case bead-blasted at some point. Otherwise, this is perhaps the best value in a certified diver's watch from Seiko. It takes something significant to impress me and this watch has done exactly that.
This watch is mechanical, which means it uses the movement of your wrist to keep it wound as there is no battery. Unfortunately, when I received my watch, there was not enough "reserve" to keep the watch running overnight and it would stop after a few hours of sleep. This was not consistent with the information printed in the owners manual so I decided to return it to Seiko for repair. Unfortunately, although I believe the watch was new, there was no Seiko warranty card included. My cost of repairs exceeded the original purchase price from Massdrop. After repair, this watch is performing satisfactorily so far. I would not buy again.
