I use one of these for work and am happy with it. It records cleanly and it's easy to get the audio off the SD card. Sure, there are higher quality boxes like this, but not for anywhere less than 3x the price.

Decent discount off the MSRP. For a prosumer videographer these are pretty nice. Sure you might be able to beat it on Ebay or used. But not bad for new, if you are in the market.
