I'd like to say that every time I see a popular item drop such as this one it never fails to amaze me that there are always people complaining about shipping verification and every other little thing they can complain about! Weeks before the stated ship date I have to put up with seeing this crap on the discussion board. Do the rest of us a favor and relax or don't join these drops that take awhile. I don't understand how the hell you can expect anything more than an around about date after the actual date listed. There are no guarantees before! Quit assuming you're special, Damn! I don't care if I take crap over this, your wasting everyone's time.

Seems like every time I check back, the sold amount decreases. Payment issues or cancelled their orders I suppose. I don't mind the wait personally, just thought the info we got was that some early buyers will get their product shipped days after drop ends was very misleading. Many other sites have since have Tin T3 sale page up too. Makes me wonder if other sites will be able to ship out their orders before Massdrop.
Too many are posting reviews well after drop ends, at this rate, most probably all shipment will ship at the same time on the estimated ship date. No early shipment for early buyers here.

I have contacted to try to cancel my shipment. I also thought that they would send a few hundred to finish and for that reason I joined. Misleading advertising by the representative of tin audio although massdrop had stipulated another date so it is not the fault of massdrop. You can have patience and wait is not great drama for me but I am getting tired of deceptive advertising and that the companies that do it do not compensate in any way their mistake. Money always catch first.

Lillianthank you for clarifying the whole issue of the first shipments you said so that people would join the drop and in the end nobody has received anything. Good communication work !! Deceiving the buyer is fine! Disappointed with Tin audio and its management with this theme. I hope that massdrop understands my discomfort and can cancel the order.

First, we have shipped the first batch of T3 to the warehouse of Massdrop. However, due to the poor weather in the East Coast where the warehouse is located, the shipping and the processing time takes longer time than we expected. However, we think you can receive the shipping information soon.

Heads up: Got impatient on waiting for a second drop for the T3's so I bought them on amazon on 07/03/19. Received shipping confirmation at 10/03/19 and today 12/03/19 my package has left via air cargo. If you don't mind the extra $10 dollars and don't want to wait I suggest buying via Amazon.

If you scroll up, you will see that people that were defending them have changed their tunes, since they haven't received their notifications and realized that what we said was true, other platforms (sellers) have started to ship out. Not only that, but some of those people already have received their T3. This mess could have been avoided if they either selected a later date to take into consideration delays, or if they had shipped earlier and not waited till being so close to the actual shipping date. O well, growing pains for this company I supposed. I ended up getting the Shozy V33 1/3 with my refund, and it is already on its way from Hong Kong.

TechnopriestI think what the issue is, and I noticed this in the screenshots of the shipping details from Lillian, the IEM's weren't shipped from LinSoul to Massdrop until the 13th. There was enough time between when the drop ended and the 13th to get the IEM's to the warehouse so they could have shipped from NJ to us on the 13th.

i just hope they can compete with my current Sony MDR-EX650 IEM,s as for the money they are truly amazing sounding.

LillianHi, would you have any troubleshooting steps on why my P1 causes electric shocks when connected to desktop amps? I already used diff cables and tried diff iems on the P1 cable. Looks like its the P1 itself.

Since people are asking, I will list who these are best suited for.
These are best suited:
- for those who are new to IEMs
- as a present for those who are interested in IEMs
- for those on a limited budget
- for those considering the T2/T2 Pro (as the cable is much more sturdy)
- for those who are looking for an alternative pair to their more expensive pair
- for those who enjoy a bright sound
These will not beat the Shure SE-215, Sennheiser Momentum In Ear, RHA ma750, etc. or those that are more expensive in general with high reviews.
They are not for bassheads, are not suited for those who want the top quality sound that IEMs can offer and are not for those who want wireless options. If you don't like bright IEMs, these will not change your mind and stay clear.
That being said, if you wanted a copy that would be an extra to your current ones then these are a good deal.

I have both and there's no doubt about that.
Price says exactly nothing about quality. Just about greedyness of the maker/seller and created hype.

To be fair, I am basing my reviews because I already did my research on the T3 checking all of the reviews available (including the graphs) and I have had the T2/T2 pros for quite a while. I don't buy them on here as it is usually cheaper to get them off Amazon (in Canada) but I do enjoy seeing people getting hyped over it.
For me to recommend something over another, it has to show a clear difference and something that would justify doing so.
As sound is subjective, it is my own opinion of which I can make a referral or not based on blind tests (as far too many reviewers are biased to a product in my opinion because of the price, for low or high).
As I have several headphones in the high end, I know what a big difference sounds like and for those who have IEMs that is good enough, I would recommend just saving their money (like if they had the T3 instead of the above or vice versa).
The exception is for those who want an extra IEM (as I listed above) and are not believing the hype that it will blow their current set up away as I have seen on here from fanboys (which is just setting them up for disappointment and is irresponsible) in which I do recommend it.
Going into specifics about sibilance, sound signature, soundstage, detailed comparisons between two models and the like on a quick list when there are many professional reviews (with more credibility than fans on a product page) is silly as I trust that they can do their own research. I have been more than generous so I don't see why people are complaining about that.
Anyways, I like the T series (obviously) for being cheap decent IEMs but I am just trying to make sure that people understand what they are getting before they pick one up.

During the past several days, our team along with Massdrop are working together to deal with the custom clearance for the arrival of the TIN HIFI T3. In the mean time, we are also working for other ways to decrease the shipping delay. However since those items for you are still in the custom clearance and to avoid another set of uncertain delays of shipping, we are currently arranging shipping to all of you directly from China. You will receive the shipping notification via email starting from NEXT WEEK. We need some time to prepare the fulfillment because of changing the shipping location. (Note: If those items has been successfully released by custom, we will still ship via USA)
The estimated delivery time could be 7-10 working days after we shipped to you, depending on where you are based.

I've got some early impressions up on my blog for those interested. Short version? Take one part T2 (mids), one part T2 Pro (sound stage and detail), add some additional bass depth and sub-bass presence plus a dash of additional refinement. Top it off with a cable that belongs in the 150+ USD segment and you've got yourself the T3. This thing is goooooood! Those of you who have jumped on the drop already are in for a treat :)

Not with cable it comes with. But that is an easy fix! You can get a good mmcx cable fairly cheap and get a really good one for $20+ depending on where you order from. If you don’t mind a wait, AliExpress is way to go. For example, Cables on amazon would run $50 and the same exact cable would be $25-30 on Ali.
