Purchased this exact watch for my wife last year. It’s a fantastic watch for what it is.. perfect size for a small framed woman who wants that semi-masculine watch look that’s popular nowadays. The power reserve is impressive and puts my Breitling, CFB to shame, although at the slight expense of BPH.
As a watch enthusiast who cares a lot about what movement a watch has, I find the notion that watches are or should be male only in their enthusiast community odd. Ditto cars and bicycles, the latter of which I know more about than any man I know. How someone else defines "worth it" isn't really something I think about much. Speaking only for myself, 33mm and this movement in a Swiss piece is a terrific combo. So, thanks Drop. Sincerely, a woman who knows exactly how many cylinders every car she's ever owned has.
JimsterYes, really. Tissot has anumber of watch models that are COSC certified. 80 hour power reserve, 3hz beat rate. Slightly more expensive when it’s time to service the movement.
It has been intimated that buying a Chrono for a woman is a waste if she can't tell you how many cylinders her engine has. My wife might or might not be able to but she can tell you how a car handles and if it has enough power to suite her needs. She is a very good driver, better than most men I know. Like a lot of women she is also a certified diver and an avid skier and outdoors enthusiast and knows what gear is good and what works for her. She values function as much as aesthetics. It really annoys her and me that many so many women's watches and by women's I mean watches small enough to fit on their wrists, are short on function. While I love the fact that the movement in this watch is COSC, like so many woman's watches it's not very easy to read and has no luminescence. Is it only men who need to know what time it is in the dark?
TwentySixAndWhat's all this nonsense about lume anyway? If it's too dark to see what time it is, it's time to be in bed! And if you're married, you should be in bed with your wife, just say'n.
As for woman and watches Mr. @banner, if your wife would prefer this watch, as opposed to the sort of watches women are actually wearing these days (which tend to be BIG fashion watches) you should buy it for her ;- )

I wish I had a girlfriend so I could buy her this lovely watch. Chrono auto for less than 500$ is nice price imo.
Could anyone tell me how serviceable pm80 is?
I tend to look at it the other way since all watches will require a service at some point. My tissot cost $280, even with the added cost of the service (which it will need at some point)it’s still under $800 for what should be over a decade’s worth of Chronometer level performance. I’ll take that.
Know what you mean about dual clutches and fast shifting--I only have a 535i but in Sport mode, it's shifts much faster than I could with a manual. Next time I'm up your way, we can race for Pink Slips, eh? Okay, maybe not. Meantime make your husband buy you this watch for xmas, I'm sure you deserve it!

MarPablAgreed. This checks a lot of boxes. The size, 33mm, is a much better size for a ladies watch than those ridiculously tiny ones that are less than 30mm. This is tempting.
