Fixed blade knives are TOPS’ bread and butter. But the Mini Scandi folding knife’s solid execution is testament to the company’s ability to diversify its offerings Read More
Excellent knife from TOPS, worth the price. The blade deploys smoothly via the discreet flipper tab and lockup is solid. The fit and finish is precise and looks very upscale. The best of both worlds, it works as both EDC and gentleman's carry.
I love it despite it's flaws. Great concept, meh execution. The action was and is still not super. There was only partial lockup from a liner lock when I got it. I disassembled it and bent the lock over more to help with both problems. It worked somewhat but still isn't perfect. It is also rather bulky. I do, however, love the concept of a scandi folder. The micarta handles and the color pattern are very nice as well. Overall a great idea, just had some flaws with execution. I enjoy the style enough to deal with those issues and still like it.
This Tops folding knife is by far one of my favorites.
It now joins othe folding knives I carry on a daily basis.
This knife is very well made and I would suggest that if you are considering this purchase, do not hesitate to buy it.
I'm very pleased with this little beauty. It's got a solid feel, and a smooth action. I like the feel of the grips and the patina. A great addition to the rotation.
Who says you can’t EDC a scandi. Tops has made it easier with this folder. You can now feather stick to your heart’s content while riding the NYC subway! All joking aside, this has the feel of its fixed blade counterpart but in a more portable version. I’m not sure of the ruggedness this steel versus 1095, but it definitely can cut through boxes and man can it open mail!
