Audiophile favorite Violectric is back with an all-analog amp for headphones and speakers—and it’s launching exclusively on Drop. Introducing the new HPA V550: a low-noise, high-output amp with several selectable gain modes. A streamlined version of the highly regarded DHA V590 DAC/amp, the HPA V550 does away with the DAC to bring listeners class-leading amplification with ultra-low distortion. High output power and a high damping factor make this amp a great choice for difficult-to-drive headphones, while XLR and RCA outs make it easy to connect a power amp or pair of speakers. Just use the button on the front to select either headphone amp or preamp, and you’re good to go. To help you dial in your setup with optimal comfort, the HPA V550 also comes with a remote control to complement onboard volume and balance knobs.
