I did not experience issues with the product stopping working as mentioned by several others, it's still going strong after 2 years. However, it just doesn't provide the power I need. Maybe the issue is with my expectation, after all it's a tiny device that has to draw power from your phone. The lasting benefit I've received from this product is it at least allows me to use headphones on my newer devices which lack the 3.5mm port.
I do use this one occasionally on usb-c devices and it does work pretty well.
Top volume kind of gets to drive hd6XX but it's just not really there.
Works well with lower-power-requirements headphones but I don't think it is much better than a 3.5 jack if the device has one.
I like the warm sound and the ability to drive demanding headphones. However, the cable is a bit too stiff and the control panel is a little too constricting when used on mobile when travelling. For a desk setup, it is actually good. overall, it is a decent performer and a good value proposition given the fact that it has a SABRE dac.
I had bought this for listening to my hifi cans to listen to them on the go. It worked pretty well for my needs a bit quiet but not bad. I had used in almost every day for about three months until it had stopped working. I had tried it in other phone's to see if it was my port but alas it was not. I would have recommended this 100% if it had still worked but I cannot in good faith say it is a great product.
Died after 6 months meaning the Drop 30 pathetic days of coverage is useless. A solid state product like this should last longer than 6 months. Hopefully Drop will be better about QA in the future.
