That will run you $699 on their site. I went with the black. Cherry is too red for most folks, that's why they're discounted here. I can speak to the sound, which is immediate, and room-filling. This is a real bargain imo.

As mentioned, NOT “wireless”, just Bluetooth. When it comes to speakers, those two terms are not interchangeable and DON’T mean the same thing.

Nice setup! Mine is very similar, with Schiit Bifrost 2 and Lyr 3, plus the Clear OG like yours. Fantastic combo, the Focals are just great!
I recognize your Jot 2, is that a Modius or Bifrost DAC?
I love the speakers as well, but Drop version has their own (non) warranty of 30 days only, they emailed me after I bought them. Bummer! I hope Audioengine would help out anyway if ever necessary...

Thanks, its the Jot 1, and sounds great with the Modius ;-) I'd bet AE would give support to your set, if anything goes wrong. I dealt with their CS on a minor issue (they were temporarily sold out of the HD6 in black when I wanted to upgrade from the A5+), they were extremely helpful and seemed happy to assist. As you can already tell, they're quite solidly built with quality components. The sound is convincing! Keep the boxes (if you have room) and receipts. I doubt you'll ever need service but, fecal matter transpires, as they say.

This is actually a good deal, in spite of some complaining. You can't find these for less right now.
I think the cherry looks nice, reviewers have said it looks great in this finish, I'm in!

To those not excited by the color options (or lack there of), one solution is to Wrap them.

Are we supposed to expect to receive the cherrywood finish version since that is what is in the pictures and there is no way to choose when buying?

Yep, that's why they're 150 bucks off. You can get any color you like for $700 at their website. I got black, to match my other components but it doesn't affect the sound. Heck I'm considering getting another set at this price ;-)
