The Bulova CURV collection is technically and aesthetically charming in just about every way. Like its name implies, each watch in the series features an ergonomically curved case that hugs the wrist for a wildly comfy feel Read More
Anyone want to sell the bracelet band for $40? Leaning towards the blue model, I like the racing aesthetics and probably looks great on a rally strap. I could use that bracelet for my lunar pilot though..
World's first curved watch and that curved sapphire?!, definitely attention getting. Some model variants has a 3D effect on it. Looks better on video and even better on a wrist.
Do yourselves a favor and buy this rally strap in 22mm for $16!! Check out the customer pics for quality shots.
Blue suede might be a decent alternate for the leather factory model.

Here's a review that does the watch some justice. Stunning imo

JAoneI do not, it's a retro rally strap that seems fitting with the theme. Not sure how it's going to look against the case shape but the Amzn selling page does have quite a bit of customer pics. Not affiliated either co
Why no display caseback? The Bulova website shows the CURV with a display caseback. Though its not a mechanical watch, the movement is very interesting. The pushers are different. So maybe this is not the current generation of the CURV?
Peter.charronHi Peter, I have just ordered this watch, great price. I didn't worry about the exhibition caseback: I have five automatics currently; and four have this exhibition casebacks, where you can see working parts. I didn't think the Curv caseback was worth paying the extra, as not much f anything moves. (it is available on other models, costs more and the case is a little larger)'
Like Ray said if you like it buy it, this model seems to be running out , a retail outlet I buy from in my country has just sold out with no stock coming!! Good luck.
Nice looking watch, although the curve can be slightly annoying while doing activities. Luckily picked up the 98A156 at local Amazon for AU$179, ripper price tbh.
I understand you"cobber", I couldn't find this watch any cheaper than Dick Smith or Kogan locally at $359 aud. Or on Amazon, which I don't use a lot anyway, certainly no chance on Gumtree!. It's just the luck of the draw and timing I guess. The only site I found down here worth watching is "Starbuy" outta Sydney, but limited brand choice; or Chrono24' but they seem to raise the asking prices for the Australian market; a bit like our petrol: any others you have found?
Yes it's a bit of a gimmick/novelty but it's still a pretty nice watch for the price (check out the video link mentioned below).
BTW: This one definitely looks best on the leather strap.
Nice looking watch, and 40% cheaper for what it retails where I live. Only problem is that due to the curved shape it's missing a long seconds hand to show off that precision quartz movement.
SoftcoreNot many chronos have a central seconds' hand... Quite rare, in fact!
It would have been very odd for Bulova to make that choice and have a central seconds hand, and relegate the (very important) chrono hand to a small sub-dial.
