The Cayin RU6 Portable USB DAC/Amp dongle aims to unlock the full quality of that library by putting a solid DAC/amp combo right in your pocket. Connecting to your phone via USB-C and giving you two different headphone output options (3.5 millimeters or 4.4 millimeters balanced), it’ll have you listening to your audio unfettered right away. It supports up to 384 kilohertz audio resolution as well as up to DSD256 for supreme resolution. On the output side, you’ll find a total harmonic range as low as 0.032 percent, a solid 113-to-114 decibel signal to noise ratio, and a dynamic range up to 110 decibels. It also sports a 128-by-64 OLED panel that shows you exactly your power output and details right up front so you know exactly what mode you’re listening in.
