It was great while it lasted.
The movement just isn't reliable, and it was losing minutes a day since I got it.

Great daily driver
It's a great looking watch. Minimal, clean, and unique.

Great value and an even greater fit for smaller wrists.
An excellent looking field watch in both looks and finish. However the biggest drawback is the very weak lume. Even with a 1500 lumen flashlight to charge the lume, it'd quickly fade to a point where you'd need to seriously squint to read the time. Was hoping a V2 would've had tritium, but it's looking like Drop isn't in the watch market anymore.

Initially loved it, but now it won’t wind or set time
I loved this watch for the first couple of months I had it, but one day the crown pin just started comings lol the way out instead of catching at the wind and set time positions.

Budget start of automatic watches.
I like the price of this watches (arount 200hundred), there is no alternative for such a price with that mechanism (1-11). And that is the only good point for me now. Other things disappointed me, because I had a bugger expectations. First of all I imagined this watches a bit bigger, in fact they are small and look too small on my hand. Next is leather strap - it's too stiff and need to apply some efforts to make it wearable. I bought different straps and playing with them now. Third is mechanism, which was the main point of purchase: It lasts for just an around 24h, runs slow (1-4min per week), manual winding mechanism works a bit strange - it rotates weight. So mostly I disappointed. If I had a chance, I would return it and look for another alternative. It could be watches for the same price but with less advanced mechanism or with same mechanism but from manufacturer with heritage.

NATO strap is kind of chintzy. Watch quality and case are nice. Solid caseback design is a nice nod to SF.

Despite a few minor issues, I still wear it every day.
So.... 5 stars! Recently got this for $210 (Silver / Clear / Leather / STP). My complaints are this:
  1. Tis a bit thicc. Every time I look at it I wonder if it could not have been made 15% thinner. For the record, it doesnt wear chonky, it just looks chonky when I look at it.
  2. Movement is made for a date feature; watch has no date feature. The notion that this is a gimped product bothers me in the abstract, but I prefer the watch without the date.
  3. Got an additional NATO strap: I would NOT waste my time with this. Get your NATO elsewhere.
Those things aside, I still wear it every day from morning to night (aside from computer typing time) and it serves me well. A very nice "everyman" design that fits a majority of the daily situations I find myself in these days. So much so that I do not wear any of my other watches as there is no need.

Good, robust design for $200, bad NATO strap
TLDR: Good design for $200, runs a bit fast (+1-2 minutes/week), lume is passable in complete darkness. The stock NATO frayed within days of use and I replaced it with a generic 20mm ArtStyle NATO from Amazon. Good for a first release but can definitely be improved.   I was an early backer of the Felix back in December 2019 (for about $337 or so) but I cancelled my order in August 2020 after numerous delays. That ended up being a good idea since the price fell steeply to about $200 in December 2020. For that price, the Felix is a winner and I’ve had mine since January 2021. For about $200 you get a sapphire crystal, case, lugs, and face, exhibition caseback, and an STP 1-11 movement which already comes with perlage finish and clocks-in at 28.8K bph (the second hand sweeps well). The movement is a bit fast but the STP 1-11 is known for that. I got about +1-2 minutes per week but nothing watch-breaking for sure.   It's not perfect. The stock NATO strap is terrible; the adjustment holes began fraying (see image) just after two days of use . The lume can be improved (guess the marketing fooled me) and the "D" logo could've used some lume too. Another drawback for me is knowing that the watch has a date wheel but no window. Granted, I knew that coming in but it still feels like a wasted complication especially when you can even adjust the date wheel when you wind/set the watch. Unlike the other two gripes, at least I could change the strap. I swapped the cheap stock NATO with a generic ArtStyle 20mm strap from Amazon for a measly $11 with free shipping. Ironically, the ArtStyle strap's hardware matches the case and lugs, making for an overall better NATO for the Felix :)

Should Drop decide to make a V.2 with a date window and better lume, I might pick one up and give this one to one of my family members instead but I would honestly wait until the inevitable price drop occurs (pun intended) after release.   Again, for $200 ($211 with an Amazon NATO) the Felix is a winner, I enjoy wearing mine and appreciate the thought and craftsmanship put into the design. Drop did well for a first in-house design, kudos to Leopadron for getting this design to market :)

My first automatic watch, looks and performance and feel all seem good to me!
I don't know much about watches, but I would heavily recommend this one for either a buyer like myself, someone who has other 'EDC' style gadget fixations and would like to have a respectable watch to go with them, or someone who has dressier watches/a large enough collection to justify adding another because it's nice for casual wear. The crown feels good but did take a little bit to get the hang of, mostly because I kept dorkusing while trying to re-seat it.

I got leather, it's nice but since the band is pretty stout and the case is not huge I can see how it might take people a bit to break it in. And yeah, a little bit for posterity and a little bit because I wanted to dump my remaining reward points into a lefty Dogtooth. The one I got has rosewood scales that I have to photo later, they're so dark and pretty

OmniseedShould've picked up a leather strap like you did but I'm glad to hear thar you're enjoying your Felix too. I haven't decided if I want a Dogtooth or a Ferrum Forge Gent...on Amazon hahaha
