@nlombardi3 The Kihon's are great black jean option that will wear in beautifully and are simply a great pair of versatile pants.
& for the indigo selvedge experience, you are not going to do better than the Drop Ibara Slim, launching in May.

Zipper, less bold branding, dressed up in black... @john.webb are these the Banana Republic killers I’ve been waiting for, since I don’t want button fly? Does this Japanese denim have selvedge edges?
Since I don’t put my phone or wallet in my back pocket (I once knew someone who put an iPad Mini in their jeans back pocket! Now sure what brand that was!), I might’ve preferred a slightly shorter back pocket to give my butt the appearance of lift... but what am I saying, I’m a guy and my wife already approves! Still, it looks like these back pockets might actually be a nice balance of height aesthetics and function.
(my interest in jeans on Drop has made me research too much 🤣)

@ixtlan I got mine, sorry to hear that. I wish you the best of luck in getting a resolution.
I’m currently doing a load of underwear laundry so I can be fresh while wearing these... it might seem strange to “dress up” for a conference call where no one else will see my pants, but having them “just for me” as part of a stronger effort at self-grooming and care will hopefully be a confidence boost. I think I’m worth it, so hopefully that mental attitude will project into my interactions :)
PS, these are very stiff! Like, almost Ricky Ricardo’s leggings from “I love Lucy” levels of stiff, so I think I’ll be wearing them for only a few hours a day during quarantine to loosen them up before we’re free to be “out” for the whole day again.

Would like to see a pair that has been through 100 washings, the same cycles through the dryer.
I already know what Levis would look like after the same--wonder how the two would look side x side...

if only there were a way to backorder or pre-order a specific size so that they don't run out of stock of the most common sizes, I'm sure more than 450 pairs would have been sold...
