Any chance this will be available as 3,5mm again? I know it was available as 3,5mm at some point because I had to reorder this version as the old got a loose contact inside as it aged. It sucks buying adapters from 2,5mm to 3,5mm.

Is there an ETA on the optional 4-PIN XLR-to-2.5MM TRRS adapter for this cable?

Why on earth are these cables like 3x the price of the originals from sennheiser? What makes the production run on this cable so much more expensive?

PinkyfullThis is a balanced cable. The one you're looking at from Sennheiser is likely not balanced.

A 4.4mm/Pentaconn variant would be more than welcome, as it'd be nice to have effectively first-party options for that connector.

The plug in to the headphones has two different sized pins. Does it matter how you plug them in? Does the L and R go out or in?

I didn't quite understand how you can convert an unbalanced headphone to balanced, but it turns out you don't. You're just utilizing the balanced output of the amplifier. So if anyone else is curious, I found these articles pretty well written. https://www.moon-audio.com/are-balanced-cables-better

Will these work with Fostex TR-X00 (in reverse for polarity?). I have Fostex and HD650s so it would be a better value. Sorry if this has been asked and answered but I'm on my smartphone and browsing the discussion is not as easy.
