Panda is the world’s first headphone with THX AAA™ technology. Using patented feed-forward error-correction topology, this technology reduces harmonic, intermodulation, and crossover distortions by 20 to 100 times—currently the world’s lowest levels of distortion. And no matter how loud you listen, the THX AAA™ amplifier can drive Panda to comfortable listening volumes, with headroom to spare.

Promising high-fidelity audio that’s better than conventional headphones, planar-ribbon drivers are on the rise. What makes them so special? They feature a series of evenly spaced magnets on both sides of the diaphragm that act on a flat plane—hence the name “planar”—which results in carefully tuned phase-correct sound. Thanks to the evenly suspended diaphragm material between permanent magnetic fields, planar-ribbon drivers are extremely resistant to distortion. They’re also super responsive and have a hyper-realistic sound signature that you’ll notice straight away.

It’s not only sound that sets Panda apart. Boasting a 30-hour power reserve, Panda exceeds the battery life of most major ANC headsets. A full charge takes just 2 hours—with around 3 hours of power on a 10-minute quick charge. Backed by the latest Bluetooth 5.0 QCC5124 chipset, Panda supports LDAC, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, AAC, and SBC codecs. If you need to take a call, the headphones feature two built-in mics compatible with the latest voice assistants. Courtesy of the closed-back design, Panda offers strong acoustic isolation—and no digital signal processing to hide a poor acoustic design or muddy the sounds the creators intended. Finished with plush foam earpads wrapped in breathable protein leather, Panda weighs just 375 grams, making it easy to take on the go.

1. Download the Drop Updater on your Windows or Mac computer
2. Connect Panda to your computer using the supplied USB-C cable (other cables will not work)
3. Run Drop Updater and follow instructions to update Panda’s firmware
4. Download the SoundID app on your mobile phone (Android or iOS)
5. Make sure your Panda is paired with the same mobile device as the SoundID app
6. Follow the on-screen SoundID instructions
7. Verify SoundID is enabled under the “Connect” section of the app. Once SoundID is enabled on your Panda it will work with all other devices paired to your headphone

Panda sounds and feels great out of the box, but you can take yours to new heights with a pair of premium earpads, here in four materials. Soft and more breathable than the standard Panda earpads, the velour pads lower internal reflections and emphasize the upper midrange and treble for a more neutral sound. The hybrid velour pads maintain the strong low-end performance of the standard pads, while tightening the imaging and widening the soundstage. Most similar to the default Panda sound, the sheepskin pads offer a tighter soundstage with punchy lows and a luxurious feel. Finally, the fenestrated sheepskin pads offer a slightly wider and more focused soundstage and a slight reduction in bass. 

Compatible with the latest consoles and PCs, the boom mic features a noise-canceling condenser mic capsule for crystal-clear communication, a volume slider, a mute switch, a 4-foot cable, and a 6-foot extension cable. Tack it on to communicate with friends for voice calls, gaming, and more.
