Georg Jensen watches are a breed of Scandinavian minimalism you won’t find in many other brands. The Delta is named after the fourth letter of the Greek alphabet, a triangular shape that’s clean, bold, and resolute—characteristics you’ll find throughout the whole line Read More
Hello everyone :)
I really like this watch but i am really hesitating beetween the two white dials model...
I need your advices and feedback, i like the stainless steel bracelet, but from what i understood, the movement of the leather strap version is better.
Please help me !!!
MaxouwouhouNo more "bullshit"! buy both and save a lot of money... :P
I bought the 42mm diver edition (Georg Jensen Delta Dive Automatic Model Number 3575605) and am very pleased with the quality and finish.
Found the one I like (GMT on the tan leather strap) selling for $1,699 and $919 as of this AM (6/4/19), so once again, MD's price of $619 is a solid, no doubt about it, good deal. The watch does appear to have been discontinued and if history is any clue about such things, the next time you find one for sale, the price could be MUCH higher.
Unless someone knows differently, this may be the best and last opportunity to snap up this particular model...

UPDATE: it doesn't hurt to mention the date and price somewhere in our comments, so we can compare prices from drop to drop (especially since MD wipes out prior price histories from their copy). In this, case today's (1/21/20) price of $549 is seventy dollars less than last time. That's a good thing (unless maybe you purchased last time) but we'd certainly want to know if the price had increased by seventy-bucks since then too, right?!
The white dialed non-GMT model comes to $449 - Not a bad price for a 2892 based watch with a custom rotor and sapphire both front and rear.
Things to note - it doesn't seem like the hands are lumed on any of the versions, and there's no mention of a screw down crown, which is convenient for winding and setting the time/date, but less secure when it comes to moisture, especially given the lack of crown guards (crown could more easily snag on clothing).
42 x 12 is a bit larger than typical for this size of watch, but Longines makes a 43mm Conquest (similar style), so not unusually big - just might look a bit chunkier on a <7" wrist.
Interesting. Circa 2014ish watch, discontinued. Standard eta stuff here for the gmt, so it rolls forward in only 1 hour increments. No pics of it here, but you do get a see through caseback, and it’s stamped Denmark. Pretty cool custom rotor, as far as those go. Looks like the price was $50 more last time, and prices here seem to be in line with recent eBay pricing, so a decent deal. Bracelet appears to be butterfly clasp with no micro adjustments and no half links either, which may be a dealbreaker for me.
So, can I get a discount now for doing y’alls job?
I understand what you mean, also know exactly what is so called Scandinavian design. The chunky body with the movement inside 2892 modification, which was originally designed to be as thin as possible is Scandinavian? Not functional, so looks more like imitation (imho as always).
victor201412mm (or 12.5mm) according to all other websites is still pretty thin for an every day watch which sits between sporty and dressy the way a Rolex day date does.
Second or third time around for this drop. MD still has the best price for it (by $150-$200) but there doesn't seem to be as much eBay supply as there was the drop before. Translation: if you like it, this may be the last opportunity to score one here, and at this price...
Lot's of these available on eBay. You won't find better prices there, but you will find more detailed product shots.
Here's a closer look at the case back and clasp:
WatchyoutalkingaboutOld post but worth specifying the mystery is solved. It's more expensive because it seems the caliber has better finishing, and maybe it's a better grade compared with bracelet versions.
