Hilarious, tell everyone that the watch community is basically finishing in "sunset mode" then release of all watches, the over ordered watch that last time they had to refund for being unable to supply!!!!!LOL many times. And sold through in less than 24 hrs: they must have counted the stock wrong and found one or two hiding from the watch fairies!!!
JAoneHa ha ha ,, I placed my order on Thursday night local OZ time , got the message Friday afternoon saying it's on its way !! ,, freaked me out how fast they sent it ,,, perhaps they found some stashed away in a cupboard somewhere from the ,,, ' Sold out ' lot ??
I grabbed the rose gold with white dial .
RayFC’mon , what do you mean hardly noticeable ?! It’s like saying wearing an Invicta is just like having a Rolex on the wrist. LOL. Here is the difference, Cartier starts at $5,000, Heritor maxes out at a $100.
It has a classic look, but a bit too thick. Seagull movement is made and designed in China...so, well, ah, eh. Seagull dated back to Mao's time. Dressy enough as my son's work watch. But it's not a Tank, of course, and no way I will buy him one either. LOL. BTW, the best looking one is with a silver gullioche dial.
56 in 18 hours, this one will sell through real quick!!!

What is the word on the movement? Hand wind? Well made? Easy to get serviced?

dnamanDon’t worry about servicing costs, as you’ll never get this watch serviced. When it breaks, which it will, you’ll throw it out into the trash where it always belonged.
Even with base ETA & Selitta movements, it’s usually cheaper to just replace the movement entirely than to dissemble and replace individual parts.
With cheap chicom crud like this, you’d have to find the anonymous movement used, and order it. You’d then have to find a watchmaker willing to work on it. Total cost would be 2-3x the price of the watch.
At least with japanese movements, you can order the movement online for ~$50-$75 and swap it out.
Stop buying cheap disposable watches from China. You’re welcome.
A cheap Tissot with ETA movement will only retain any value if you spend many times the buying price getting it serviced. In reality all watches made today are disposable unless you just change out the movement instead of servicing.
Yes , they make some very high end watch movements of very good quality ,, just google ' Seagull Hand winding movements ' , some of these are easily as well made as the Paneri hand winders .
Leaving my options open for this Heritor Tank. Square and rectangular watches always wear and look bigger on the wrist. Is that a slight curve to the caseback? It could make the watch wear thinner than the stated 12 mm. Not sure there is any way to judge this watch objectively without putting it on the wrist. Price seems good and Seagull movements aren't the worst. This watch could end up being a fast flip but there isn't much to lose. I may have just talked myself into this watch. Damn, not again!
roamy360You are not alone; I feel exactly the same. Just procrastinating about the order.I will probably look at it many times, then miss it as sold through!!! Nah; I ordered it!
mlsteinJomashop's on drugs with this one. $99 is a decent price, but 12mm thick for a dress watch of this style is also drug-related. They would have been better off going with quartz than the $15 Chinese automatic mvmt.; could have significantly reduced the height.
mlsteinJomashop have got the good drugs!! They state that the original RRP. was $1400 usd. I know we all think that a group of these online retailers are somehow business related or in collusion: but 94% discount of RRP.!!!!!!! Even the Heritor site records them at retail $349 usd. which is inline with Drop. Maybe Jomashop did a deal a while back when Heritor first released the watch, or maybe they are lying!
