The Imalent MS18 flashlight packs an astonishing 100,000 lumens (nope, that’s not a typo) of power. To illustrate just how bright that is: It’s 50 times brighter than standard car lights, 125 times brighter than a standard 60-watt light bulb, and it results in a beam nearly a mile long Read More
Seems like a decent price to me. For the currently, brightest mass-produced flashlight in the world. Especially if this brand has a decent reputation (as others here have indicated).
China is catching up in the quality department - still have to be choosy/picky about brands. I would say the Chinese are where the Japan auto-industry was in the late '60's thru the late '70's as compared to the US auto-industry at the time.
Now which automobiles, for the average consumer, hold their value best? Toyota is one of the best at holding their value - and for good reason.
X-rays are for pu**ies.
I am annoyed at the use of "aerospace-grade aluminum". That was outdated marketing bs decades ago, like "surgical stainless" in knife descriptions.
100% agreed, the Kershaw chill is the best looking knife/slimmest/long blade for an edc. Theoretically my s110v manix would OBLITERATE this cheap Chinese knife, but who cares when it's ugly/too big/hurts to carry around lol.
It also reminds me of how people buy thousand-dollar ridiculously expensive headphones that weigh 30 lb, and are ridiculously uncomfortable/annoying to set up (amps dac etc) when a pair of wired 500 dollar iems works just as well, little difference in actual sound quality while being 100 times more practical.
The only reason I'm even saying this is because I've learned from my own stupid mistakes of thinking bigger and more expensive is always better and then realizing that comfort in form function make up about 90% of the quality of something.
League544There's something to be said about a minimum level of durability/reliability, but most companies of some repute understand that and deliver. The rest is indeed about no-nonsense form and function.
