Iconic audio brand JVC has been creating cutting-edge wood earphones for a decade. In celebration of 10 years, the company has gone all out on one IEM. Introducing the HA-FW10000: an endgame pair of earphones equipped with thin 50-micrometer birchwood dome carbon diaphragms that deliver expansive, natural-sounding audio. These drivers are encased in Japanese maple wood housing with wooden stabilizers to further augment the HA-FW10000’s natural acoustic properties. Japanese traditional paper (awawashi) and silk (kinu) provide impressive absorption, while a special Japanese lacquer (urushi) directs the soundwaves for clarity.
