Will my ear monitors shipped earlier than the estimate shipping date? Can't wait to put them on my ears and listen to some good music 😂

I’m in the UK. Is there a way Lime can ship straight to me to avoid import taxes?

So now the question is: These or a used pair of Andros?

Definitely not a fan of Chi Fi. Do you have any insight on the JVC FW1800s that drop has on here? They’re 50 bucks less and look good.

I'd stay very far away from them. I'd go for the Clairvoyant/monarch in the similar price range with a lot of customization options on Linsoul. They're MUCH higher on Crinacles list (higher than most 2000-3500+ iems actually) they're a little big but super comfortable if you're not laying down on a pillow. For the price, according to my research across all audio portals, monarch and Clair seem to dominate the space. I'm a HUGE fan of chifi (not cheap chifi necessarily), because they hse the same exact components, and most of the time much newer than these outdated American companies (flagship Sonion and Knowles). The cool part of all of this is that you can research each individual driver yourself and I know for a fact that you're getting a very high quality IEM because they contain those drivers and the company has a great reputation for tuning if the company has terrible reputation for tuning, then I would stay clear.

Could anyone chime in on how these would play with fast genres like death and black metal? Looking for something that can keep pace with the style and provide detail and clarity without sacrificing punch.

If you have the money I would probably save up to buy the m e s t as those are the God's of all iems, particularly for metal (look at bad guy good audio reviews for reference he loves metal) or short for bggar.

Can I choose the colour of faceplate after the order?
In this drop (to maintain low costs) we gave up possibility of further customizations. You get this beautiful color as seen on pictures. :)

I’ve been enjoying K10Us for a long time. I love their clear sound but I would like to add a little more body to bass/sub bass these days. Are Aether Rs good upgrade for that purpose?

Not AT ALL. If you want bass stay AWAY from all BA iems, I've made that mistake far too many times. Stick to DD hybrids. All BA is good for treble, but lack the punch of dd.

So they disassembled returned units, called it a new "essentials" model and shipped it without the tangled cable or waxy ear tips that were included in the returned item box. Way to go, Drop...a new but typical low.
But, just theoretically... If we did that, but dipped them in snake oil for three full days (and nights), wouldn't it count as they were new? Just wondering... ¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯ Anyways, audiophile-groaner-jokes aside. ;) I know that there can be some mistrust in the industry and there are folks worried about quality. But let's not get too discouraged. If it would be possible we'd invite you to drop by our lab to see and experience how we hand-craft these babies from scratch using crispy-fresh components of quality we would wish everybody we like to have their monitors made from.

What kind of armatures are you using? Custom in house or Knowles/Sonion? I know a lot of these smaller expensive brands use outdated components (64 audio etc). When was the last time these were updated? Problem with the audio industry is that they are selling iPhone 6 in 2020 and charging 1200 bucks for it and calling it a good deal. These were very well received, just want to know since it won't say in the listing.
