please in the future, if your going to exclude necessary accessories like tips and a cable, please make it BLATANTLY OBVIOUS that they are not included instead of just implying such by not showing a picture of a cable or tips and not saying it does include it.
@LimeEars Hello, I bought the original Aether R and I have a few questions:
1. I really love the native cable, it is very thin, but durable, and almost weightless, I practically do not feel it, but I am interested in this: is it possible to improve the sound quality of Aether R by replacing the cable, or does the native cable already allow you to achieve maximum performance? I really like the IEMs themselves, but I want to understand if the native cable limits the sound quality.
2. Regarding the switch: which switch position would you recommend? I understand that this largely depends on personal tastes, but I am just interested in your personal tastes. For example, Aether Essential uses a bass switch "on", and I like this setting, but, frankly, the most universal setting seems to me to be purely armature setting in the "off" position, especially for extreme metal (death, brutal death, black, thrash, deathcore, etc). Most of the time I listen to music in the "off" position. What do you say? What is your preferred mode?
3. What eartips can you recommend for Aether R? Also a question from the category of personal preference, but I'm wondering what eartips people prefer most. Spinfits suited me the most, but I have not tried Comply yet, plus I can order SpiralDots if necessary. :)
P.S. I really love the native case, I always take it with me on the road - it is suitable for storing IEMs and a good means of self-defense. : D Really cool case — reliable, stern, brutal. :)
Hit me up at my username at gmail if you're interested in the original Aether R (with switch & cable) for almost the same price of this Essential version. US only please.
