Please offer these as a CIEM. My wife hates the notion of having anything near her ear, let alone in it, but she always gives every IEM I buy a shot just to see what they sound like. These are by no means my most expensive IEM, but it turns out they're "the one." My set is no longer my set and lives on her desk. If you offer a CIEM option, I will get her one and I am sure many others will want a set as well. The out of the box fit with the large tips just to happens to be perfect for my ear shape, go figure.
On the one hand, I am moments away from ordering a pair. On the other, the pricing makes me wonder if they are clearing out inventory before a new, better version is introduced.
Note to self.
NEVER pay full price on Drop!
You'll feel ripped off later when sold for half what you paid.
Drop has to know that they are upsetting a ton of customers doing this all the time.
I seriously will no longer purchase products that have not been discounted. I have paid hundreds more for products like this and the Nuforce hem series and seeing steep discounts just months later is frustrating.
These are a no brainer for this price. Frankly, I was quite pleased at the $300 price. Great sub bass... They are exactly as described.
JakobDrop hasn't offered real discounts for ages. "Audiophile" is the new fast fashion. Manufactures create "new" or slightly modified products seemingly once a month. Then the previous becomes outdated and goes on clearance. But it's a two way street, it happens because of the newish unhealthy widespread obsession with finding the perfect headphone/IEM. They don't exist, it's 99% marketing hype every time (this includes the "reviewers" who wax poetic about anything in order to seem sophisticated and intelligent), in my experience... I've bought my fair share of Chi-Fi buds and cans and I've yet to be blown away. So now I don't bother. I've got my Galaxy buds, Porta-Pro's and HD58x and I hardly use them because speakers are much more enjoyable afaic. (If you don't have a set of LSR305's, you should 😉)
JakobWell... that is not just Drop. Most retailers have sales. Now for some retailers the “sale” is for a short time, and others for a longer time. But, essentially, looking for good deals is always a good idea. If you know a retailer drops their prices on a regular (or even irregular) basis, then wait for a lower price. But otherwise, just enjoy your purchase. Life is too short to have regrets.
Just my opinion.
jeffeffreyI might be down to sell mine. My left driver is super quiet and I've been searching for a replacement, to no avail sadly. Unless you might want to sell me yours? Lol. If not hit me up and maybe we can work something out.
URNapetooDo these drivers die? I'm new to IEM's and all of a sudden one day noticed I was getting no lower end on both my R and L. I tried another cable as well. These have seen minimal use. Any ideas or suggestions as to what I can try or am I SOL?
