These to me are super Sennheiser HD-650/6XX which I also own. The first time I heard them, I was taken back by how deep the bass goes and punchy. The mids are excellent--it doesn't have that magical Sennheiser veil. The comfort is great with very soft earpads. Highs are accurate and not sharp. These cans also offer lots of detail. Another standout feature which to me is a preference is that they are slightly on the warmer side. A big perk is that they also come with XLR cables which can sometimes cost over $100. Many people don't like the constriction of the cables because they are slightly on the stiff side, but to me I really like them. They don't feel cheap. These are my favorite cans along with my Audeze LCD-2C. I highly recommend these cans if you are looking for a balanced sound.
