Moondrop SSR Super Spaceship IEM

For budget-friendly earphones, transparency is a bit of a final frontier. In the SSR Super Spaceship Reference IEM, Moondrop has taken one step closer to reaching it. Based on the brand’s popular Spaceship IEM, the SSR features a dynamic driver with a beryllium-coated dome for excellent rigidity and internal damping—ideal for an inherently flat, transparent linear response, which has been emphasized even more with Moondrop’s new tuning. Combined with other components, including a polyurethane suspension ring, CCAW low-impedance coil, and N52 high-density magnetic circuit, the SSR’s beryllium dome design also gives its drivers next-level consistency and detail retrieval. Closer to the ear, Moondrop’s patented triple-layer anti-blocking filter all-but prevents sonic imbalances due clogging, keeping the SSR sounding great use after use. Cast from a single piece of rigid amorphous metal alloy, each earphone is both compact and incredibly durable—perfect for any mission on the go or in the home.
