Just got mine today, what an absolute waste of money. I kept reading about people saying they're big but from looking at the pictures I thought they didn't look that bad. Well it looks and feels like I have AA batteries sticking out of my ears. Even with the winds there's no way these are staying in my ears while I run, I feel like even if I turn around too quick they're fly out. I know they aren't particularly made to be athletic earbuds but come on.
I haven't even taken the time to listen to them yet but I can already tell that they are going to get thrown in a pile of old junk in the next few days. Very disappointing, I knew I should've cancelled my order when I kept reading more and more bad reviews. Why do these keep getting picked for drops?
I might give an update after I listen to them, and I'll try to do the recommended 50-100 hour burn in lol

Thank you Derek. I appreciate that you took the shot with our Bluetooth IEMs. We are working on the successor on which we should have addressed the concerns you are having. Once we have this product ready to ship, I´ll send you a note. Hopefully we can deliver.

derek.morashYou are right. You can not even walk properly wearing it. Running !!! forget about it. This is for only sitting down and listen music but thats not the idea for bluetooth IEM should be. The sounquality is pretty good though when you properly burn it.

Thank you for the recommendations, i was typing in all caps so i could call for attentions seeing as the drop for the TFZ Series 2, 4 and My Love II's where ending and those where the ones i would've originally bought. This is also my very first time buying IEMs so i think i got a bit to exited and just jumped on the EDC's when i saw how many positive reviews it has. Thank you again, it has inspired me to think about the product more when i get it, whether it is in the audio departement or more in the tech departement's.

I have these and I'm quite happy with them. I put some triple flange tips on them and they never fall out. These weren't meant for exercise, so people complaining that they can't go jogging with these should really consider what they were meant for. They last up to 8hrs on a charge as advertised so no complaints there either. My only complaint when I got them was that they didn't seem to have enough bass. Granted, I'm a bass-head, but even if I weren't, the bass was just downright weak, almost non-existent. Then I noticed that these had small port holes on them. I used 1mm strip of duck tape to cover them (it actually looks like it belonged there as part of the original design), and OH< MY < GOD!!! These things transformed in bass beasts!!! They now are my favorite buds for the type of music I listen to (hip-hop and electronic).
I can see how the size might turn people off, but for me (I have a pumpkin head) they are fine. The convenience of not having to worry about wires snagging and causing my phone to hit the ground is a huge plus, and as mentioned, the sound profile once I covered the port holes is OUTSTANDING to my ears. I think these buds are getting a bad rap. Anyway, that' just my humble opinion. If you like bass, don't mind doing a simple mod, plan on using these as intended, and don't mind the size, I can't recommend these enough! For reference, I have the TFZ Series 5 (black), and Sony XB-500 (cans), sony mdr xb950bt (cans), Beats studio, Klipsch x10, and many more buds that I can't remember the names of. After the tiny and simple mod I mentioned, I think they sound just as good as my XB-500s which have 40mm drivers, which is a pretty tall order. Again, that's just my experience with them and my humble opinion so don't hate me too much! :)
piercjenkinsCan we get some pictures? Just curious :)

TheXonarConnectionHere you go. I just put triple flange tips on to get a good seal and a small strip of duck tape over the pin sized port hole on each bud. It turned these things into bluetooth bass beasts!

I’m reading a lot of über-negative comments that baffle me. Obviously a lot of people are having issues and I don't doubt anyone’s claims.
However. I DO work out with those in my ears, several hours a pop, with a lot of inversions and balance tricks upside down, as well as running and a lot of dynamic movement. If anything bothers me in terms of fit, it’s the rubber of the cable between the earbuds that tends to snag a bit on a sweaty neck. Note I’m not even using the accessories provided to fit these stronger inside the ear.
These ARE athletic iems, why even dispute that? They are waterproof, sweatproof and dustproof, perfect for outdoors trails as well as the gym. They’re quite big but I can’t imagine a situation where that would be a problem and they look great and are sturdily-built. As to weight - it remains negligible compared to headphones.
The way I see it many have trouble finding the correct seal. I myself had to go for Comply tips in Large, otherwise I would indeed feel the iems moving around and the sound was crappy. That would also explain why some of you are dissatisfied by the bass - these are not for bassheads, granted, but the bass is very punchy and outstandingly detailed for the price and considering this is bluetooth. Stereo separation is top-of-the-line, on a par with very expensive gear, which adds to the fun even if the general soundstage is not comparable with open headphones. I’ve auditioned $300+ wired headphones from well-known brands that sounded noticeably worse and lower-fidelity than the Be6i.
Battery life on my unit and my wife’s wasn’t 10 hours at all, more like 6 at the start in AptX/AAC, which is already better than most athletic iems. It went down to 3 or 4 after a year, at which point Nuforce replaced them for us. Quite the great customer experience.
For people frustrated by the amount of bass in the Be6i the new Be Free8 by Nuforce (so-called « true wireless » iems) are more tuned to emphasize bass.

I had a set or should I say 5 of these. They do sound good and have good battery life, but they continually broke on me ( an ear bud would go out) and i had to send them back to Optoma about 5 times in a 6month or so span before i gave up on them. Their support is easy to work with so i commend them on that, but i would not recommend them at all.

I am disappointed. I received my set this week and was anxious to try it out. A quick test at home was great, pairing to my phone was quick and easy, the earphones sounded great out of the box. However, i bought these for exercise, and this is where the trouble started. I typically exercise with my phone in my pants left pocket, and despite the short distance, my movements cause the sound stream to constantly break up. When walking it's not so bad, the stream only breaks up a bit once in a while, not so bad. But when i'm using gym devices, and move quite a lot, and my movements are more extreme, the music constantly breaks up. It's like listening to a scratched CD that keeps skipping. This loses the whole point of getting these, i got them for exercising without tangling cables, but if the music stream is not continuous, what is the point? The description says they're good for up to 98 ft, but even from 2ft with a layer of fabric separating, it was no good. Not sure if these are defective, or just generally not good. Please let me know how i can go about returning these.

ugobugoI walked away from my phone the whole width of my gym today, maybe 30 feet? Then climbed on a cage and did explosive pull-ups. No break. My phone was inside a pouch. The BT emitter is the problem with these. I had a Sony A15 DAP that does AAC, range was less than pant pocket to ear.
This is a pretty darn good set of Bluetooth earphones for sure; https://thecontraptionist.blog/2017/09/03/optoma-nuforce-be6i-bluetooth-for-the-discerning-listener/
Some solid alternatives would be the ADVANCED Model 3 or Evo-X, just keep in mind their wireless connections aren't as stable nor do they offer the same crazy range or battery life. If you want something bassy, give the Brainwavz BLU-200 a shot.
