pahowesIt finally arrived yesterday, October 22.
I have placed a number of orders with MassDrop over the years. But now, given the lack of communications throughout the last couple, and the scarcity of unique communities (writing, board games, quilting, etc.) I think it's time for me to "drop" Drop.com.
I did not see this drop end or that there was a limited number available in the description. The old Mass Drop site seemed better. The new look of the site is not useful and I end up missing things like this. This is why I started buying cool/neat items elsewhere.
So (mass)drop closed the writing community, and pens now go to everyday carry ? Or was this a pre-arranged bargain with the provider and you guys "had to" include this last(?) pen drop ?
I love Demonstrators and this one in particular really sits nicely, it's quite slim which is a departure from the Sailor demo I have (that I also love) at $89 it's a good deal, think I bought mine for around $110. I also found that you can soak it for about a week and all the ink stains will come off (rub it with a cotton bud every couple days). Good pen if you want something on the slimmer side and not crazy expensive.
I love demonstrator pens, this m205 is pretty nice. feels good in the hand ;-) However I got this pen for $84 shipped from EndlessPens, I wouldn't pay more than that for it. Good ink flow and piston feels solid, but it's just a demonstrator pen, nothing too special about it.
