Dmac6419LOL, you think people buying this are concerned with cost?
imagine going up to a Porsche dealership and telling customers to buy a 1995 Honda Civic instead, and save their money 🤣
liteon1I have to admit that was pretty funny. People always ask me how do you say Keces and I always respond sounds like feces! It is actually an acronym.

Superb quality
There is no doubt a lot of great products these days at very competitive prices. It comes down to features, sound quality, and built quality. One often over looked feature of the Keces S3 is the use of a very high end relay volume control and its analog pre-amp functionality. Other sources can be used with the analog inputs this model provides, like a turntable.
The drop THX paired with their balanced dac will run you 450 and I doubt you would notice any real difference unless you were scrutinizingthem side by side, the price on this defies logic when compared to newer similarly priced options. I'm sure it's a good unit but definitely not attractive enough vs other options, just my opinion. Having spent enough time and money on different equipment I have found my preferential sound profile and seriously scrutinize the price of some hifi, best to test, audition what you can if your ready to drop over a grand.
