Product Description
In 2010, HiFiMAN released the HE-300, HE-500, and HE-6: a series of headphones that redefined price-to-performance expectations in their respective categories and solidified the still-young company’s status as one of the most respected names in the audiophile community. Inspired by the HE-300, which was eventually discontinued despite being a clear favorite for many, we teamed up with HiFiMAN to make the HE-350 Read More

Selling a mint pair of these headphones! Used them for a little while, never had a single issue. I also did the popular "bass mod", so that's done right out of the box!

Re: HiFiMan HE350 & Concerns about Overall Build Quality of Drop Only 4 months old and ready for the Garbage Can! Poor quality build of connection bracket. Appers to be the Same problem that pleaged earlier drops of this Item. As others, the 2 legs of the Y bracket connecting the left side ear speaker to the head band have broken.  These headphone have never been dropped and broke as I was taking them off my head!!!!! I see that other customer's have had the same issue in the past and was hoping that flaw had been corrected prior to my purchase.
  • They great sounding, but definately need a DAC & Amp to get the best out of theses guys.
  • After a few hours wearing them, I too would start to get a headache as others have reported. Not sure if it's the tight fit or that the magnets may be causing the problem.......
  • If you are a Canadian customer, expect extra delivery charges at the door upon delivery (extra $35.00 for me in B.C.)
  • Have not received a reply from Massdrop customer services at the time of this post.
To those considering these Cans, I Hope this helps. Cheers

If $100 is the top-limit of your budget, they're good bang for buck. I haven't had any durability issues with them (yet), and I've been using them almost daily. I brought them into a headphone bar to compare to other headsets, including (because I carry them everywhere) my Bose Soundsport open-channel earbuds, which somehow sounded comparable and are much more comfortable (though have zero soundstage... because they're earbuds). While the HiFiMAN HE-350 is a noticeable step up from most $30-50 headphones (which I had previously been accustomed to) in terms of cleaner audio and relative flatness, no enthusiast that has listened to them has agreed they're worth purchasing, even as an entry model to quality sound. I find them moderately uncomfortable over long periods of time, applying significant pressure to your upper jaw/temple, even on maximum size - and they give most other people instant headaches. I'm far from an audiophile, but while these have served their purpose to me as an introduction to purchasing "higher-than-what-I-had"-end audio equipment, they're not enough of a departure from the $30-50 crowd to warrant more than a year or two of saving up to get the next significant (and hopefully more permanent) step up... looking at you Senn 599!

how would these do for a pair of beginner cans? I'll be pluging it straight into the on-board output on my PC and my Galaxy S9 so yeah... I know that the build quality is really bad but would anyone recomend these?
Oct 10, 2018
They run fine of my 6s and my Z370 Prime motherboard. So you shouldn't need a dac/amp.

another broken headband here. Plastic is brittle. sounds good but build quality is very poor.
anyone know if there is a warranty ?
Oct 5, 2018
heatstrokeYep there's 1 year warranty. Alot of other headphones on here seem to have 2 year warranty. Call it a conspiracy but that's pretty suss in my books. I recommend getting your money back if at all possible and looking at the Beyer DT990 or 58x Jubilee drops on here instead. Not much more for a lot more quality.

Update to my last post. I opened up the casing and guess what I found? The tiny clip which acts as a click-lock cum terminal to hold the connector in place was lying free in the cup. Obviously, the connector pushed it in because it wasn’t fixed in securely enough.
See these images.

I have no idea what was holding it in place. I can see nothing there substantial enough to secure the clip against the force of the connector being pushed past it. I stuck it back with SuperGlue which is like trying to fix a amputation with band aid, but I had no choice. I’m sure it will fail the minute I push a connector into the socket.
The only choice is to remove the socket and replace it with a new one, and solder the wires back on. I don’t know if I can find a generic one that will fit. I am fed up to my back teeth with manufacturers being too clever for anyone’s good and using highly proprietary connectors, switches etc that only their devices carry and make the entire device useless if that item fails. If they want to make an impression, let them make a dependable product.
And Massdrop, time to pay heed to the worn out but still very relevant adage: “penny wise, pound foolish”.

Sparingly used HE350. Right sided 2.5mm socket suddenly doesn’t grip the connector. When inserted into the right can, it simply slips out. Very disappointed. Not sure if any warranty covers this. Massdrop needsto reflect. When you take a great product, whittle it down to barebones features and sell it for a very low price, you don’t call that a bargain or a mass purchase advantage. This is an audiophile space. Where is the quality?
